What should Disney add to DHS?

They should bring back more classic movies. I am opposed to Lucasland or whatever it's called. We already have Star Tours, it's been there forever. I wouldn't be against replacing it with a more modern thrill ride, but an entire land dedicated to George Lucas? Not feeling it. I' believe there's already a convention of some sort that exists for Lucas worship. I've always found Pixar to be aesthetically displeasing. Can't the Toy Story solely satisfy the need to represent Pixar in the park? How about some more timeless attractions, like, say, the Tower of Terror. Imagineers, think back to the old days of Hollywood...there is more to life than transient kid flicks. Bring some edge to the park. Hey, even the early Disney animated films were edgy.

And I think a land dedicated to superheroes is terribly unoriginal. Six Flags and Universal already got there. Sorry, Disney. You just might have to think outside the box (like you used to).

Anything. Fast.

I'm completely on board with Pixar land or Star Wars land, I think either (or both) would be great additions. Whatever it is needs to happen sooner rather than later. I can't imagine anything starting until avatar land is done and then another 5+ years to build so we're talking a good 7 years. DHS can't survive the way it is for 7 years.

I agree, What do you think they could add to DHS to bridge the gap that wouldn't take as much time to build?
I still think the monsters coaster is a good idea. Even if they did a "store bought" track I think it would a great addition. Make it kid friendly like thunder mountin or SDMT but in the dark. It wouldn't even have to be billed as "Pixar land" just add more overthere until it turns into its own land.

Yes, even an "off the shelf" ride design would be great with the right Disney/Pixar theming enclosed in a dark ride is just what DHS needs to fill space until a new Land can be added

They could call Goofball land for all I care. It desperately needs attractions to thin out the herds. There are too few and almost no family attractions. First, they need about 8 rides that everyone can go on...think Winnie the Pooh, teacups. From there, they need 1-2 4D attractions. These are things like Philharmagic, Spirderman/Enchanted Forest at US. Finally, 2 more E ticket rides. One of the easiest is to make a Tie-fighter/XWing dogfight coaster. Or, make a 4D ride going through the trench of the Death Star. It is too easy to come up with what is needed. The hard part is getting Disney to finally open its checkbook to do it. Stop investing in DVC and fix the park.

It's called (for now, anyway) Disney Hollywood Studios, not Pixar City. Hollywood goes back a long long way. Why would Pixar and George Lucas have to be given entire lands? I vote for them to explore the archives of Hollywood and do more attractions in the vein of Great Movie Ride and Tower of Terror, and not to oversaturate the park with kid-friendly pixar themes.

I agree 100%, it needs SOMETHING!...ANYTHING at this point, lately it just feels like they are closing attractions.
They should forget building a second track for TSMM, if they had other family attractions to ride, the rush to TSMM would not be as crazy. A Hunchback of Notre Dame Dark ride, for instance maybe. And a "Family style thrill ride" (Barnstormer-like) with a Monsters Inc theme maybe

Yes, if they plan to keep the Hollywood theme then they need to add more attractions in that genre, but I still think they are planning on rebranding this park to make it more like DCA with a "Movie/Studios Land" as part of it

Let's face it, Disney is just catering to kids these days. Kids and transient thrills. No respect for history. No respect for themes. It's film to ride to princess greet to gift shop - the end. #losinghope

first, they need to drop the "Studios" from the name, they've gotten rid of almost everything "Studios" related. Maybe "Disney's Hollywood Adventure" and they NEED more attractions, dark rides, and at least one more E-Ticket attraction

After the dreadful last 3 Star Wars films (the prequels) I find it extremely surprising that people are still this interested in the franchise. Aren't there other things in the creative universe?
