What scenes in GMR should be kept?

I'm sorry, I figured it was an obvious exaggeration. Doesn't change the fact that there are less and less great movies every year.
Even as an exaggeration, I still disagree. The ratio of quality films to forgettable ones is probably about the same as it always has been... maybe even better, depending on what you consider to be the "golden age." Just because there are a lot of mindless movies that receive a lot of hype, doesn't mean there aren't plenty of good new films being released.

We are not seen a bigger picture. As someone said is "THE GREAT MOVIE RIDE", the movies that are represented are masterpieces or classics.

Now that said, why not have some fun into it and bring some of the greatest movies (for real) of the past 30 years,

Imagine this:
(opening scene) a pond, a familiar tune, (Rainbow Connection) and we see Kermit singing it.

Go into Singing in the rain, Mary and so on...

We may need to start looking outside the box and some movies that are more classic this day than others altogether.

The ride needs lots of attention and some AA need to be replace. I remember when Disney was proud of saying that the witch form Oz was one of the most advance AA ever built (20 years ago). Now i will say that is the Jack Sparrow at PotC.

Plus the Final montage needs to be more like an award montage that what they are showing that looks so bad and so 80's!

To each his own, but I'd rather watch a random movie from 20-40 years ago than one from today.

I can't believe I read people were wanting the Alien scene out. Alien is not only timeless, and not only a great Sci Fi/Horror film (genre's that should be represented) but its on every reputable critics greatest FILMS of all time list. Even ahead of Star Wars.

If anything, there should be a "Great Horror Movie Ride" and really go all out. Then maybe people will stop complaining about scenes being too scary.

Okay, if all you (DON'T SIGN YOUR POSTS THE CENSORS ON THIS WEBSITE CUT OUT THE NAUGHTY LANGUAGE HERE SO I'LL USE THIS SPACE TO SEND A MESSAGE DON'T SIGN YOUR POSTS) want Alien out...

Then replace Alien.

With Event Horizon. :drevil:

Nah, I'm kidding. But if you want to put in Star Wars, you need to put in Blade Runner too. Go the full Harrison or go home. Besides, Star Wars and Blade Runner hit two nice sides of the sci-fi movie genre: Space opera, and gritty depressing cyberpunk.

Blade Runner is a timeless classic. Requiem For A Dream rings a bell here also.

Star Trek and Star Wars

you forgot the rest of your sentence I think.

Star Trek and Star Wars ...characters fighting each other.

Yes, i love it. You sir are a genius.

If they just do Star Wars, they could have Obi Wan and Vader standing prone with lightsabers extended. No need to have any other movement excpet for the figures to simply spin about like a pair of music box dancers....JUST LIKE IN STAR WARS!!!!

I've got a suggestion. I may be ripped apart for this suggestion, maybe I won't but think long and hard about this one. This movie is also timeless and a classic, is one of the highest grossing comedies of all time, it's got an all-star cast. At the time it was made the FX for the movie were spectacular and new.....

Ghostbusters

I AGREE A HUNDREDBILLONTIMES:sohappy: i love Ghostbusters
