What ride do you make a beeline to first in each park??

MK - Dumbo (if riding) or Speedway (if not Dumbo) or Splash (if neither)
EP - Soarin
AK - Everest
HS - Midway Mania

Note: Having observed the Midway Mania lines last week, it now has replaced the RnRC / TOT first strategy for me. Reason: A second ride on TSMM will be more difficult if you don't hit it first than getting a second ride on either RnRc or TOT. Plus, the FPs seem to be going faster at TSMM than on the others (currently anyway).

Having said that though, I think it will be a real challenge to try to get 2 rides on all 3 - TSMM, RnRc and TOT - over the course of the day without having to stand in at least 1 hour long line. I'm going to give it a shot my next trip though.

For us, it's:
  • Magic Kingdom: Splash Mountain/Big Thunder Mountain RR (Fastpass on, ride the other)
  • Epcot: Fastpass Soarin', ride Living with the Land
  • Disney's Hollywood Studios: Tower of Terror/ Rock 'n Roller Coaster (Fastpass one, ride the other)
  • Disney's Animal Kingdom: Expedition: Everest

MK - First to Jungle Cruise or PotC, then get fastpass for Splash Mountain OR BTMR, continue to Haunted Mansion.
DHS - First Fastpass for TZToT and then Great Movie Ride
EPCOT - Fastpass for Mission:Space, then to "The Land" and The Living Seas (has changed however as the Nemo-update is quite boring and I am not standing in a cue again for it)
AK - First Fastpass for EE, then back to It's a bugs life.

MK - Splash Mountain
Epcot - Soarin
DHS - Tower of Terror (after a trip to First Aid Station so DH can remove his insulin pump, apparently the magnetics in TOT screw up the programming in the pump, it's a hassle but TOT is so worth it!)
AK - Expedition Everest

You wanna add the "other" parks now huh?!

Epcot -- Mission Space, Soarin'
DHS -- TOT, then fastpass RNR and then standby it
DAK -- Fastpass everest, then standby it

BB -- Summit Plummit
TL -- Crush n' Gusher

USF -- The Mummy
IOA -- Hulk, or if too crowded, Dueling Dragons

BGA -- Montu, then Sheikra
AI -- Wahoo Run

SW -- Kraken, but in 09', it's Manta
AQ -- Dolphin Plunge

DQ -- Cyberspace Mountain

MK - Dumbo
AK - FP for Safari and jump on if standby is short enough.
Epcot - FP for Soarin' then ride standby on Nemo and if time allows, Turtle Talk with Crush.
DHS - I get the FP for TSM while my wife gets in the standby line for TSM. Then I find her in line and fall into place with them.

Magic Kingdom: Changes every visit, but we went to Pirates first last time. That was a great first ride because then we were right next to Splash which had no line when we got to it.
DHS: Never been at opening but this next trip it will most likely be TSM
Epcot: Never been at opening but this next trip it will most likely be Soarin'
Animal Kingdom: Never been at opening but we have Donald's Safari Breakfast and our resy is 15 min. after park opens so we don't know what to do about Everest. Get fast pass and run across the park to breakfast or just wait in line after.

Great question. It is interesting to see other people's favorites!

Now, having said that...let's think about the term "beeline" shall we.. A "Bee" never seems to fly in a straight line but yet, back and forth, up and down, sideways, backwards, etc. So the term "beeline" which is quite common in conversation when referring to "getting somewhere fast in a straight line..I guess..".. I have to ask....why do we call it "beeline"?

I'm pretty sure we don't do that (a beeline) when knocking people down, tripping over strollers and wheelchairs and trying to pass people looking at a map because they "have no clue" ;) We take the shortest route between entrance to attraction. :)

MK --- Pirates
Epcot --- Spaceship Earth (yes I realize I don't exactly have to "rush" but there's a line sometimes)
Studios --- Tower of Terror
AK --- really, I don't make a beeline for anything here...it's my take it slow park
