What ride do you like that everyone else hates?

Absolutely it is Carousel of Progress! (Well except for the time the ride got stuck on the transition between sets and that blasted song kept playing over and over and over and over and over.....)

I don't think Living with the Land is hated by many, but I will say it's probably my favorite current Future World attraction right alongside Spaceship Earth. Soarin is fine but I don't get the rhapsodic love some have for it and certainly wouldn't wait for it more than maybe 20 mins, and to me Test Track 2.0 was an immense step down from 1.0, which was an immense step down from WoM.

I LOVE SGE. There, I said it. I know I'm gonna get a bunch of hate comments, but please stick with me.

I was terrified of SGE when I was a kid because of a YouTube video I watched of it. Multiple people screaming in the dark was not my cup of tea. my parents however, really wanted me to ride it. This was mostly because they we tired of doing the same thing every Disney trip, which I can understand. I finally got to courage to go on it, but I only made it to the talking robot scene. I then proceeded to cry and scream, and we got escorted out by a cast member. The second time I tried to ride it, I physically got in the seats. The restraints came down and I was fully immobile. The ride started the countdown of 3...2......1 and then immediately went to 1...2.....3. The ride broke and I was free! When I finally went on the ride, it was so exhilarating. I finally conquered my fear (and the animatronic was pretty cool)! So why many people think of this ride as a cheap reskin of Alien Encounter (which it is), I think of it as a childhood memory I will never forget.

Do any of you love a ride that everybody else hates? I would love to read your answers.

Primeval Whirl!

SO. MUCH. FUN!

Haha! I had almost that exact experience! It’s a craptacular attraction, and Alien Encounter does look like a much better experience, but I’ll always have a soft spot for it as the first ride I’ve ever conquered a fear of.

I wouldn’t say I personally love or even like it, but I do have much less distaste for it than the average person.

Not to nitpick you, but the song starts literally 2 minutes into the show.

You seem to have some axe to grind here, which I don't understand. I didn't know what song was being discussed, so I asked for more information. Yes, the song you mentioned is probably the right one. But I wasn't sure, so I asked. Why is that such a problem for you?

I have a few, but here are my top 7 (in no order) and appologies in advance for my tangents:
Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress is defenitely one of my favorites, I've even managed to save my self a good seat/row most of the time (another story). I can't quite see WHY people hate it. I guess maybe it's the fact that it only moves once every 4 1/2-5 minutes or the fact that it's a long show (then again it doesn't make too much sense that some can sit through hall of presidents, but not Carousel of Progress)
Dumbo is an all time classic that I had the honor of operating for 1 semester during college last year. I guess people hate it because of thhe play area you have to go in was part of the standby, though that isn't true 100% of the time, that's another story though. Maybe this one isn't so much of a hated attraction, I guess. But then again there's the occasional "what about the other Dumbo?" from people when they are sent by a CM at the merge point to one of the two dumbos. Still, I can't quite say that this is an attraction that everyone hates, in my view, the jury is divided on that one.
Barnstormer is also great and, just like dumbo, the jury is divided as to whether I believe people hate it. I mean, it's a great coaster, great for everyone really, but I guess people look at it and say "It's too boring/babyinsh/childish." I mean they to a very VERY small extent are right, but what would you expect disney to do? Build a coaster that isn't so good for the little ones? At least you have to admit, going through the billboard and over some park guests is in a way cool and maybe exciting.
The horse drawn trolley. I am not kidding on this one. This one I kind of see why everyone hates it.... or maybe they don't, they just want to get to the other attractions before the park gets busy. It's a nice relaxing ride, and a great way to avoid all the crowds on the sidewalk from park guests when you're trying to get to where ever. But I guess maybe it is boring for some since all you really see is just main street USA and nothing else - you see the same things you do when you walk. However, where else in the county can you go to ride behind an old fashioned horse drawn streetcar? (If you say Disneyland, I hate to say it but that does not count, that's more or less an obvious answer and that's, for lack of a better explanation, a theme park.)
The Liberty Belle is another attraction that I like that everyone hates (or at least they seem to). It's pure steam, a great time killer, and it's authentic, and has some scenes that you can't really see from other attractions. Why everyone hates it? not sure. Maybe it's one of those attractions that everone plays the "boring" card on and don't really give it a shot. I mean come on! There aren't really that many steam boats left in the country that still run. Disneyland has one, Georgia has some and I think Louisiana does too. Other than that, I'm not sure where else you would be able to find an operating paddle steamer. They might be scarce.
this one isn't so much an attraction that everyone hates but it is one where it jsut seems to really be ridden and or appreaciated only because it takes you from point a to point b or is a time killer: the Walt Disney World Railroad. I ride it to get me from main street to frontierland and tomorrowland (via fantasyland station), and to get some time in before my next fastpass, all the while I enjoy the ride and not look at my phone for reservations or texts or instagram or what have you. Let's face it, there aren't that many places that offer rides behind steam trains regularly. I could go off an a bigger tangent or rant, but i'll just leave it here.
It's a Small World. It seems like this one has really been discussed here already in previous posts, and I'm sure we know why people hate it: the song. Trust me, it is everywhere (on the bus, in the main entrance loop, in the elevator at Disney's Aulani in Hawaii, at Disneyland, need I say more?) I will give Disney credit though, for the Sonny Eclipse show at Cosmic Ray's, it plays briefly before Sonny says something along the lines of "We only use that for the enemy!", so it seems like they KNOW how people hate the song and use it (in a sense) to their advantage.

There are several that I am still very fond of. Not sure if others hate it. And yes, this list leans heavily on my first few visits. I do love COP (my very first attraction other than Wedway, which I also adore. I do like It's A Small World, too. and the Tiki Birds. Also loved UOE with Ellen far more than the original.

I'm hopelessly middle-aged and uncool, so I love Carousel of Progress, IaSW, Enchanted Tiki Room, Country Bear Jamboree, PeopleMover, and even *GASP* Swiss Family Treehouse. Essentially, those and everything that remains from my childhood. Not against new attractions as long as they aren't screen-based or thrill rides. I just have strong, fond memories of the whole family going to WDW and even Grandma being able to experience everything. Those days are gone, sadly.

Oh. I'm also one of those people who thinks EPCOT peaked around 1986. I'll see myself out. There are clouds that need yelled at. ;)
