What ride do you like that everyone else hates?

Not a ride... but I love Happily Ever After. Wishes was great and nostalgic in its own right, but aged. HEA is a beautiful tribute to Disney and its beloved film franchise.

Carousel of Progress by far. I think it tells a great story and I can't get that song out of my head after I leave the ride. I was extremely disappointed when we were at Mickey's Christmas in December and COP was closed. I knew that was our last trip for awhile and COP was a must-do.

CoP, Living with the Land, People Mover...

Those I love, but I think most hardcore fans also love those, so I don’t actually consider them unpopular here.

My real answer is Journey into Imagination. I know it’s not even a fraction of what it once was, but I love “One Little Spark” and Figment. I enjoy the ending despite the rest of the ride, and would be gutted if they got rid of it for a different IP.

I LOVE SGE. There, I said it. I know I'm gonna get a bunch of hate comments, but please stick with me.

I was terrified of SGE when I was a kid because of a YouTube video I watched of it. Multiple people screaming in the dark was not my cup of tea. my parents however, really wanted me to ride it. This was mostly because they we tired of doing the same thing every Disney trip, which I can understand. I finally got to courage to go on it, but I only made it to the talking robot scene. I then proceeded to cry and scream, and we got escorted out by a cast member. The second time I tried to ride it, I physically got in the seats. The restraints came down and I was fully immobile. The ride started the countdown of 3...2......1 and then immediately went to 1...2.....3. The ride broke and I was free! When I finally went on the ride, it was so exhilarating. I finally conquered my fear (and the animatronic was pretty cool)! So why many people think of this ride as a cheap reskin of Alien Encounter (which it is), I think of it as a childhood memory I will never forget.

Do any of you love a ride that everybody else hates? I would love to read your answers.

How old were you when that happened? I'm just thinking you must be very young if you were little and got scared in Stitch since it opened in 2004. My son was terrified in it the first time (when he was 4, but he's 15 now). By the way, my husband likes that ride because it was our first ride ever lol, but the rest of my family are secretly glad it's closing. ;)

I like Kali a lot, I just wish there was more of it. It really is one of the coolest rides of its kind but Disney fumbled big time when they made it. I haven't been on it in years just because if I am going to get wet, I want there to be more of a payoff.

I like the ride itself, but I hate the theming. I wish it was something nicer and more scenic.

I always walk around the Swiss Family Treehouse. So many people yawn when they pass it by. It is so wild, and the movie is quite good too.

I'm one of the few who likes the tree house. A few years ago, I even bought the movie so my kids would understand what it was from and yes, it was actually pretty good!

I wish Disney releases captain eo on bluray or streaming

Wasn't a huge fan, but I would totally support this. It was such a huge production, with Coppola and Lucas teaming up and I think it's still the most expensive movie of all time per-minute of screentime. It should be preserved for posterity.

Maelstrom. Not that people hated it, I guess, but I was pretty shocked that there wasn't more an outcry over losing that gem of a ride -- yes, there was tons of complaints but it was over Frozen being appropriate not about Maelstrom.

It was always one of my highpoints at Epcot, loved the trolls and just felt it embodied all that was great about WS showing different aspects of a country's culture. Still sad about its loss.

Small World. Never understand why people bash the song. It’s cheerful, catchy, and embodies that of Disney! There’s a lot to look at, and I love the peaceful ride through all the different countries looking at the costumes, buildings, animals, and embellishments. Even the sound of the boat going bumpbumpbump after loading and then the transition into smooth sailing of the water makes me smile. :)
I love the bumpbumpbump of the boats - you captured the imagery perfectly.

We loved it too, even tho it broke down every time we rode it. Haven’t been able to go on the Frozen ride yet - never any Fast Pass availability, and line is always too long... One of these days...
