i got this idea for many signatures that i have seen and got curious to where people have stayed

here is where i have stayed

1998 Caribbean beach and Dixie Landings(before it merged w/ PO)

Wanna hear something sad...really sad?

I'm a Florida resident who has never, <i>ever</i> stayed at a Disney Resort, yet I've gone to the parks about twenty-thirty times. Go ahead, scold me, cry for me...

Incidently, which resort is best and moderately priced?

Now that I moved to Orlando, I can work on my goal of staying at every WDW resort. So far, 11. I think Wilderness Lodge is next.

OFF SIGHT- practicly every hotel on 192 and most on 535 mostly before 2000 when we started staying on property every chance we got. At least 20 times at the old Sheraton lakeside W irlo.

Yeah...I think those are right. And then we stayed off-property on our first trip.

I personally think that the best moderately priced resort is Dixie Landings (now known, of course, as Port Orleans Riverside). I don't know why, but I have a strong connection with that resort. French Quarter is also nice, as is Coronado. Have you ever visited the resorts? If not, you should; It's part of the fun of WDW!

Favorite - Beach Club!!! Nice and affordable - Port Orleans - French
Great for kids who like food courts - Pop Century
Least favorite - tie - Animal Kingdom - too dark and Contemporary - old and kinda dirty feel.

See my signature for locations and dates. I echo the posts that recommend resort hopping while at WDW. Once, I had to book multiple resorts, but had scheduled a day off anyway, so we were able to transfer to the other resort on our day off. Now, I like to do this whenever possible. Even if we stay at the same resort for our entire trip, we always take a day off mid-week to spend some time touring other resorts and taking in DTD.
I'll be at Pop Century in 3 weeks! :sohappy: Then there is a big gap in my plans. I am planning a Dec 05 trip and we'll stay at WL for the first time. There will be trips between this Oct and Dec 05, but I'm not sure when or where.

Believe it or not, I have never stayed at a Disney resort. Since I'm only about an hour away, I just do day trips when I go to WDW.

But, I have stayed at the Grosvenor and Hilton hotels by Downtown Disney. But I wasn't visiting the parks either time... I was there for concerts at House of Blues! Well no, I take that back. When I stayed at the Grosvenor, I visited MGM twice along with the concerts.
