Just last week I acquired a '99 Honda Accord and I have to say Hondas are awesome! I've always known them to be really reliable and last forever. Anyways, thinking about my upcoming trip to the World; I started thinking about Test Track and how a lot of people on the boards here were talking about what company, any company, they'd like to sponsor Test Track.

So, my question is what other car company would you like to see sponsor Test Track? Even if realistically it might never happen, or whatever, just what car company would YOU like to see sponsor Test Track instead of GM?

I have a poll but dont have every company, tell us your choice if its not on there.

would have to say Ford... American car company, and a company who stayed afloat and moved forward while other companies were getting the free bailout.

I would very much agree on Ford also, due to their handling of the company during the "hand-out/bail-out" money. I know the other companys are paying back, but Ford does seem the strongest. I would like to see it stay an American company, but all do outsource certain jobs and parts. Could we maybe see a merger of all or some companys that could sponser this?

because they weren't throwing millions of stockholders' dollars into amusement park sponsorships? :lookaroun

just kidding - Ford has done a lot to improve its brand in the past decade.

Logically, since GM makes terrible cars, I think we should find another company that can carry on with that tradition. Chrysler is the logical choice.

I like TEST TRACK, and World of Motion looked pretty cool. But I have no interest and dont care a thing about the attraction. The only thing I see about it is that it's a thrill ride, and the #1 costly ride to maintain... dont care for it. chose toyota for no reason.. AT ALL

I think we need to focus on these that are NOT in good condition; Country Bear Jamboree, Tom Sawyer Island, The Enchanted Tiki Room Under New Management, Stitch's Great Escape, Journey into imagination with Figment, Ellen's Energy Adventure, Wonders of Life pavilion, Jungle Cruise, Sounds Dangerous, Backlot Tour, Pocahontas stage (AK), and maybe even... amazingly... The Great Movie ride <--- needs a re-furb with updated movies.

So... make your choice! :)

I just dont see the need to bother with something that doesn't need a new ride, sponsor, or anything. If they need to demolish and replace it, then do that very thing! Even if it is one of the big ones for the most break-downs :lookaroun...

...as usual, my opinion, not yours ;)

I don't want any car company there anymore, I'd rather there be a sponsor like Bombardier that will shift the focus of the pavilion back to transportation in general, and not just on cars.

I would sure hope it would be a domestic company. I would jump to say FORD but seeing as the show room features cars of the future and current cars, I would think Tesla Motors would be a good fit

I said Nissan, because I like Japanese cars and they could alter the attraction to become something similar to RSR in Carsland. Imagine a pavilion sponsored by Nissan/Toyota/Subaru that would focus on the drift/street racing culture. Inside the pavilion, they could create facades to represent a futuristic city, and alter the track so there could be drifting scenes where the brake tests/weather tests are held. When you reach the current crash test set, you would then engage in a side by side race outside and through the high speed loop, with similar random finish sequences planned for RSR. Sure, the track would have to be doubled and the angle of the loop altered to support two tracks, but it would be something different and new for the park. Plus, with the sponsorship, they would be able to promote their futuristic car designs in the post show area. It would cost a lot of money to do this, but it would be a great way to reboot the ride - or they could use the sled idea from Martins Test Track video!
