What movie was huge when you last went to Disney?

POTC 3 At World's End, was out during summer. My last trip in Spring they had Up and Coming Wall-e...

Although not well known in America, the home movie "Dave Eats 13 Dole Whip Floats" was a pretty big hit in Polynesia!!

I also recall "Sleepy Hollow 2: Land of Caramel Corn" as being pretty good......not a great movie, but VERY artsy..... :animwink:

As for merchandise saturation while at WDW during our last trip, I'd have to say it was all about Hannah Montana and the High School Musical franchises. Wall-E was still over a month out.

The only thing I remember about the trip when it came to movies that were out or close to coming out was HSM 2. And how much that was all over DHS last year with the parade and stuff.

July 2006 was all about Pirates, Pirates and more Pirates. I am hoping to see lots of Wall-e stuff in a couple of weeks. DS loved the movie, but we haven't been able to find much stuff around here yet.

Wall*E was everywhere! Kind of got annoying when all I saw where Wall*E pins. Haha although the Wall*E outside the AMC was very cute!

Last Trip was POTC--no surprise.

What I really miss is doing the tour at the Studios and seeing real live human animators at work.

We saw "Lilo and Stitch" and "Mulan" when they were still drawings on paper--very cool.
