It starts with the obsession that comes with finally having a trip planned, and peaks at passing under the "Welcome!" signs, seeing the WDW "city" signs, and spotting the icons-- from buses to the castle-- that all mean one thing: home. It's bliss from then on.
Edit: I also have "I'm here!" moments throughout the entire trip. Just, the moments where I stop for a bit and realize, holy wow, I'm in Disney. It can happen while I'm enjoying a Dole whip or while I'm on the Space Mountain lift hill; what never varies is that it's an inimitable, incredible feeling. And I miss it.
