What makes you cry at WDW?

Happy cry...seeing little kids meeting their favorite character and being so very excited about it!
Sad cry...the last ride we do the train trip around WDW (also the last park we do). When the train pulls in to the station and I know the "real world" is coming :arghh:

There's a point when the middle of your vacation has passed, and you realize you've been there longer than you're going to be there. That's usually the saddest part for me.
I try to stay smiling on the actual last day, since I'm usually too tired to manage another one!

I'm a pessimist by nature, so I ALWAYS end up depressed over that math.

One Man's Dream...Every. Darn. Time.

Indeed.

Probably...for me...the monorail out of Epcot to head back to the TTC. I usually look out the starboard window up at Spaceship Earth all lit up in those lights against the night sky. In the background you can hear the whirring of the monorail motors and there's a little sway as the train travels the beam....and I usually think "I'll miss ya..." and then I guess I just hope that the next trip comes soon...I always kind of feel like I'm leaving a behind a home...or a family...or a good friend...

Which is probably unnatural!

But...then again...I'm taking my son (and only kid so far!) on his first trip...the availability of teary-eyed moments has just reached a potentially new high point...

I'll let ya know sometime...

I would have said the same, until I took my kid.

Now it's the end of wishes or the 3p parade before we leave...both make me sniffle a bit.

I, honestly, wasn't all that much into the fireworks until I had a kiddo who was, and that first trip for her, where she sat in my lap and grabbed my cheeks and looked me in my eyes and said "Daddy, I love this place"...yeah...

Illuminations, The American Adventure, the Partner Statue, Fantasmic, Finding Nemo Musical and Festival of the Lion King.

The biggest one for me though was watching my kids (when they were little) try and pick up the fiber optic lights from the pavement at Epcot.

Tearing up right now just thinking about all those things. Disney might not be cheap, memories created there are priceless. :)

Spaceship Earth during the Jeremy Irons years. I always got misty, and I still do whenever I listen to the finale score.

Watching "Wishes" on the ferry back to the TTC on the last night. Yep. It's actually kind of my tradition each visit. The last day I park-hop and then spend the evening at the Magic Kingdom, just so I can watch the fireworks from the back of the boat. And I cry because I'm returning to the real world for a while, and quite frankly the real world sucks.

The one year I really started liking the slow moving dark rides this part of the ride really got me good, then the next year I was all exited to ride again after all those years of complaining how boring it was and yeah...

One time this weirdo, Jimmy Bricks or something, punched me right in the face! That did make me cry, but not so much that I didn't open a can of whup .

As a veteran this did bring a lot of emotion as well. Finally watched it for the first time in October, was very well done
