I was just wondering what keeps you going back to disney for your vacations. Theres thousands of places in the world you could visit, so why walt disney world????

For me its the feeling of being a kid again. It generally just makes me feel happy when im there, and i find there is so much diffrent choices in activities that you can see/do, no matter if your looking for a thrill, a chance to relax, or see a increadble show!

WDW has something for everyone to do- kid rides, thrill rides, shows, parades, characters, and so on. Also, you don't have to go to just FL to experience Disney. you could also go to CA, Europe, Tokyo, Hong Kong, on a cruise, and now the Adventure by Disney trips.

What keeps me going back is the Disney magic.

You can escape from every day life and routine, and go to place where you can let your mind roam beyond the thoughts of bills, jobs, houses, cars... etc.

It allows you to truly enjoy your life, at your own pace, and not to mention make memorable moments that are never to be forgotten.

The best feeling is walking into the Magic Kingdom, and looking up and down Main Street and I can remember things from when I was 4 years old, and making memories now in the same place, and now I am 24.

I have taken 15 trips to WDW in the past 20 years, and every time I go its always an emotional thing when I get there. Its a comfort that I think many of us have come to love and enjoy. It really is like going back to a childhood home and visiting old friends.

No matter how much they add to the place, or take away from it, when you go back you can be carefree and truly happy :)

That's why I go back to Disney :) Its all because of the magic :)

I agree with the previous poster. There is something about Disney that is truly magical. Everytime we have been there we are made to feel very special, in some way. That goes along way, especially at an amusement park.

We live close to Kings Island where you're just there for the rides...not the "experience". We could go alot of other places with the amount of money we spend but we really enjoy being at Disney World.

So what brings us back? Disney is not just a vacation...it's an experience.

i think it's the magic factor for me and also the feeling of the stresses of real life falling from my body the minute i get on the property! plus the fact that it's the "happiest place on earth" doesn't hurt!

remember the magic!:)

I couldn`t have said it any better.:)

I get carried away in the magic! Going through the main gate into WDW and the music in the resort TVs. And the Cast Members. And the rides. And the rides. And the rides. HAHA. :) And the characters. And the Resorts. And the food.

Theres something about Disney that makes them like no other... And I think that is what makes everybody come back. They feel like they are the only ones there and they have been waiting to see you!!! :)

I lost my lucky hat and I keep going back to look for it.

Actually, I'm not sure how to define what keeps bringing me back. I just know I get this buzz the first time on each trip when I step back on Main Street or under Spaceship Earth and think, I'm back!

When you go to "the beach" and lay there for an hour, "You've been there, done that". When I go to WDW I'm always doing new things (and some favorite old things). Each time is a new experience. The day that I find myself being bored there, is the day I give up my AP. (like that would ever happen).

When I was a kid, I dreamed of going to Disneyland. I was a Mickey Mouse Club member (complete with my own set of ears) and a faithful viewer of "Wonderful World of Color." When I became an adult I vowed I would go to Disneyland. I've yet to make it, but made my first trip to WDW in 1983. I have been back virtually every year since. I am 55 years old, but feel closer to 5 when I am at WDW. We're going back in May:kiss:

Space mountain is my number one reason. Then rides like ToT and Everest, keep me wanting more. But other than that, its the overall feel that I get while in the parks, they all evoke different feelings, and I just love how they all take me and transport me to this place of comfort and joy. MK, Epcot, MGM, AK, all have those special qualities that I love, AK doesnt have alot for me and if it werent for Everest I probably wouldnt be going there as much. I love Pop half Century, its my fav. resort to stay at, and these are the reasons why I continue to return to WDW. Mainly Space mountian, and then some.

The thing that keeps me coming back is that is its my escape from reality. I could be having the worst month on the face of the earth and I drive though that arch and everything is ok. Nobody is fighting.(atleast in my family) We all joke around about how much of a wus one of is or something to that effect. Evryone is just being a normal family and to me that is priceless. Especilly watching my DS( 4) experience the same thing i experienced at her age and getting to be there with her is magical in itself.

Also, No matter how old I get , walking into MK i always feel like I'm five. My mom has this weird tradion of the familr holding hads all the way from the enterance down mainstreet and I always feel like I'm a kid in well Disney.
WDW also holds so many memories for me. Birthdays, Anniversaries, Holidays. Ive celebrated them all there. The magic of Disney memores is that, At least i think, everytime you walk into Cinderella's round table where you had your sixth birthday or in from to the castle where your husband proposed you are immediately transported back into that magical moment in time.
See! I'm tearing up! Its not just the rides or the shows that keep me comging back. Its the place that WDw holds in my heart and i hope will hold with my future children and theirs and so on.

For me it's like remembering seeing Walt Disney on TV each Sunday night at 7:00 pm. It was a "family" night in front of the TV. Didn't have to worry about what you may see or hear.

It's the fun magical feeling I get each time I go, it's the only time I have these feelings.

It's the great customer service and the food!

The excitement! The rides, the food, the resorts, the adults acting like kids, EVERYTHING. I get home from WDW and within a few weeks I'm already thinking about going back.

...and the fact that it's only 3+ hours up the road is a plus too!

I'm simply addicted. I have Disney withdrawls periodically and just wish I was there. I know that sounds sad like I have no life or anything, but I just love WDW so much.
