I was wondering what everyones must do is when they visit WDW. I'm not talking about a ride or show. I'm talking about that little thing you must see or do, that one scenic location you must visit, the one special location you must sit or stand in, the little thing that makes you say..... "I'M HOME!". If you have a pic of that special spot please post.

For me it is visiting the LOL tile my wife and I did on our honeymoon and thinking of how great of trip it was. Today is our anniversary so that is why I thought of this. Happy Anniversary Honey, I will love you always!

Have a happy anniversary and I wish you 100 years of more love and happiness!

My must do...... I go to Italy and get a Bellini (champagne cocktail) and DH goes to Germany and gets a beer. We then meet on a park bench by the train display and look out around the World Showcase.

The one thing that I must absolutely do is ride the boat from Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom. Since I usually stay there i ride it.

My wife and I also visit our LoL tile each time entering and exiting EPCOT (we were engaged during Illuminations), though it will be a little different this time (going TOMORROW :sohappy:) because we are staying at Beach Club and will be entering and exiting at the International Gateway. I imagine we'll make the trek over at least on arrival this time and/or on the way to the monorail for MK - though it will be sad that we can't ride SSE, which is a 'must do' attraction for me ...

Oh, and happy anniversary.

There are many "must do's" for us. There are quite alot of rides that we MUST do. We must ride the monorail, even if we don't need it to go from one park to another. But, at least on property, I can't think of one special thing that we must do, other than hit the majority of the rides and such.

But there is one off property thing that I feel like we MUST do every trip, no matter what. And that is to play mini-golf at Pirates Island in Kissimmee.

Visit the Contemporary to walk around. It was my first place and first memory in 1977 arriving there for the first time, aside from seeing Space Mountain from the bus, which was closed during our first few days.
It's a really ambitious and grand design for a hotel, still looking futuristic after all these years. Most everything else is just a copycat design of something old. The others are nice to be sure, but there's something special about the Contemporary Resort.

Our tradition is that on our first day to the parks we have an 8:05 PS at the Crystal Palace for breakfast. That means we get into MK early and walk down Main Street nearly by ourselves. That is when it hits me that we have arrived.

After breakfast we have some time in front of the castle before the park officially opens. We take pictures, etc. Then when the gates open, we watch the first wave of people start down Main Street and we head toward out first ride of the day before the crowds catch up to us.

My wife and I must visit our brick, which we received as a wedding present (from someone who knows us well!). It's near the TTC.

If our son is with us, we visit the Pooh Store in DTD. There is a little set up outside with a log and Pooh characters. We always take a picture of our son on the log. Someday, we'll show him the pics of him growing up on trips to WDW. Of course, the next time we go, the set-up will probably be gone, thereby ruining our plans!

Character meals - I love them! :D
At least one dinner show.
Ride the Mad Tea Party more than once.
Meet all of the characters I can - sometimes more than once!
Try to meet a character that I have never met.
Get a pic of the family in front of Cinderella castle.
Visit Tinkerbell's Treasures at the MK.
Never miss Dumbo, Flight of Peter Pan or Splash Mt. at the MK.

That's all I can think of for now!

Our first morning we always grab breakfast in MK at the bakery (a choc. chip cookie for me, a danish for the husband) and sit on these hidden steps we found next to the bakery. We love sitting there watching the thouands of people walking up Main Street starting their day.

Over the past few trips my "your home" thing has become sitting out on the balcony of our room which has been in SSR and facing DTD while relaxing, looking at the Christmas docorations and listening to the happenings at PI. All while have a glass of wine. :D Only a few more weeks.

That is so nice! Happy Anniversary!

A must do for me when Im at wdw:

Would have to be sitting on a one of those rocking chairs in frontierland right by the BTMR exit over by the lake, and just people watch. I also love to walk around World Showcase and just take my time, and take in all the atmosphere. I think that is so nice.

We have a few. However, the following are the two Most Important:

1) Check out DS & I on our LAL Tile (See my Avatar)!

2) Photograph DS by his WAtW Brick (Located right in front of the TTC)!
