The first thing I have to do is ride the monorail. Hearing the voice of the monorail man just tells me I'm there.

My dad and I also always take a picture with our brick we got on our first trip when I was three years old.

These are all great! Keep them comming.

Another thing that really sets the mood for us is the Hoop-De-Doo Review. I never get tired of that show or the food.

Happy Anniversary!!!

My "must-do" for us is to sit on the WL beach at night time. We used to love to listen to the water lapping up on the shore. We miss that now that they had to shore up from the erosion.

Our second year there we sat out on the beach because it was such a beautiful night. We were not aware that the little water parade came through. It scared us both into a fit of laughter when that music started blaring right there in front of us. Never expected it. LOL all over again.

Ah~good times!!!

This is something we do even before we get on property, as we ride DME just as we pass under the sign we lift our feet as if we were jumping into WDW. ( got that from someone else) After that, if SSE isn't open which we usually go to first, then we will probably go to MK.
Oh, Happy Anniversary!!:wave:

Two things:

1) Have my picture taken with Tigger;

2) Eat an ice cream every day, from a different place each day.

Besides having to ride HM, TTA, and SSE, I have to eat lunch at Cosmic Ray's while sitting on the terrace overlooking the castle. I love the views of the castle, the "river", and the rose garden with Main Street in the background. The terrace is usually a pretty quiet place to eat and it's a great place to people watch, especially when it's raining. BTW I usually eat there for an early lunch (10:30-11am) or late lunch (2-3pm).

Visit the Contemporary to walk around. It was my first place and first memory in 1977 arriving there for the first time, aside from seeing Space Mountain from the bus, which was closed during our first few days.
It's a really ambitious and grand design for a hotel, still looking futuristic after all these years. Most everything else is just a copycat design of something old. The others are nice to be sure, but there's something special about the Contemporary Resort.

I agree with you about the Contemporary. I actually enjoy going there and going to the top for the view. Unfortunately, though, they have now restricted that to people who eat at the restaurant. Sigh.

Always going to California Grill for some sushi and trying every drink, even the ones I know I hate, at that international coke place in Epcot (sorry forget the name but you know what I'm talkin about).
