What is the longest you've been stuck on a ride in WDW?

It has only happened to me twice. I was stuck in an outdoor section of splash mountain for close to 30 minutes in the pouring rain. The second is probally worse I was stuck on the HM for over an hour with two other people in the doombuggy, let's just say it wasn't very comfy?

What about you guys?

In 1999, we waited in line for 2 hours, near the end my 10 years old tells me he has to go to the bathroom. I said we'll be getting on in a minute and in 5 minutes you'll be in the bathroom. After two stops in SM 1 for 10 minutes and 1 for 35 minutes, we found that we needed to go back to the resort for new pants.

I was stuck under the briar patch of Splash Mountain (boat came to a screeching halt after the drop, WEIRD!) for about 15 minutes once. We had to be evacuated off. It was fun.

I was inside a rocket on Space Mountain once, right after the lap bars locked into place, about to go into the light tunnel when they turned on the lights. We were just sitting in the rocket for a while, but we eventually asked if we could get out and stretch our legs. They let us get out of the rocket for the 30 minutes that it took them to fix whatever needed to be fixed, then we got to get back in the rockets and ride.

This happened last week. On test track we got stuck on the highest banked portion of the turn for about 10 minutes. Really freaked my kid out. Then without warning it accelerated up to max speed and it really scared him and made him cry. They let us get off and sent the rest of the cars back out. Every ride on our trip from then on he was a little apprehensive of.

Sounds scary. I've never had any scary moments just annoying!

About 50 minutes on the TTA. We just sat there not moving, watching the lift for Space Mountain and the astronauts slightly moving from the vibration for almost an hour before they evacuated us off. (All the cars had run into each other - BUMP! BUMP! BUMP! - and there we stopped.)

It was a really LONG 50 minutes.

During my last trip on Sept 29th I was at MK and got Stuck on my favorite ride The TTA...I was on there for almost 20 or so minutes and got a fastpass..Which I still have as a keepsake.

Longest for me is Carousel of Progress. We saw the same scene 3 times in a row before the theater rotated. It was quite a few years ago so I have forgotten which scene it was but it got funny after the second time.

That's awful. This just makes my 15 mns in Buzz (in the very loud tunnel room with a 21 month old) seem like a piece of cake.

45min... SSE -- pre-refurb... in the video conferencing scene with the chick graduating.. and the mom singing the lullaby to her kid. I still have night terrors. :dazzle: :lol: :brick:

About five years ago my family and I were stuck on Buzz Lightyear for about 45-50 min. We weren't moving but could still hear all of the sound effects. To be honest, I started getting a little crazy!! It was torture! You could really tell that some people were ready to get out of the ride cars and start walking out of the ride. The kept saying over the load speaker to stay seated. It was pretty funny though.

I also got stuck on the end of Test Track that same year! It was right after the fast turn, we came to an abrupt stop (which almost killed my neck) and then I saw the other car coming right towards us!! I was convinced the other car was going to hit us. But it too came to an abrupt stop right behind us! I was scared stiff!!

Stuck for about 20 minutes in Snow White's Scary Adventure at the exact moment that the Evil Queen is dropping the boulder on you... :dazzle:

Though, many of you have had it MUCH worse than me!

On our trip a couple of weeks ago we were stuck on Dinosaur twice both times about 5 to 10 minutes. Thank god not long.

The only time I have been stuck on a ride was this past November on Expedition Everest. After going backward where you go all the way back up and then start to go forward again. We were stuck right where you see the shadow of the Yeti on the mountain before going forward. We were there around 25 mins. After about 10 mins they cut the lights on and anounced a problem. Finally after the 25 minutes we were evacuated from the ride. Had to walk down 16 flights of stairs. And through the inside of the mountain. Pretty cool actually to see all that. But we were asked not to take pictures.

I got stuck on Splash Mountain for 45 minutes, right before you go into the Laughing Place... in other words, there's absolutely nothing around you to look at. I figured we'd get evaced but they cycled out the ride instead. Not as much fun once you've been sitting there bobbing around so long :lookaroun

I also got stuck on Pirates for 50 minutes, in the one scene where the still sing. I was still loopy from getting my wisdom teeth out; apparently I was quite the amusement :lol: We wound up being evaced and it was quite a tease because our boat was really close to the evac point but they have to push the boats back, evac the new first boat, then pull them all forward so it and repeat added an extra 15 minutes to the whole thing. All I have to say is, power to the CMs who have to evac that ride...it did not look easy!

On Spaceship Earth once we stopped four different times and each time was for about l0 minutes. It was the longest Spaceship Earth ride we'd ever taken!!! :xmas:

This wasn't at WDW it was at DLP we were stuck on BTMRR on the lift hill were it looks like all the rocks are going to fall on you, for about 30 mins, it absolutely killed our necks. It seems like nothing compared to what some of you have gone through.

Space Mountain

In October we were kinda stuck on SM. Just loaded the car was set to go and there we sat for about a half hour. The CM said that when it takes someone too long to exit at the end the entire ride comes to a halt and it happens several times a day. They have to evac everyone, check it out and restart. So.... move it at the end!

I wish I woulda got stuck on like the lift hill of SSE or when your going down into the graveyard in the HM, idk that just seams like it would be really cool to me, get to rest your feet in the middle of a long day and at the same time be on a ride!

The worst one I would say (which is probably the best one compared to all of the previous horror stories) was like idk 30 minutes on buzz (if that), in the room before zurg where you see like a rotating light a lil above you and it looks like your going into it. I was just holding the joy stick down and spinning in circles, driving my dad NUTS until they finally shut off the movement, to where I then proceded to shoot people behind me in the eyes with the gun.

OR it coulda been like 15 minutes on SSE, but next to the speaker that says "you are now prepairing to decend back to earth"........... n they tell you the cart is gonna like spin around and stuff. My sis and I were quoting that all day.
