What is the longest you've been stuck on a ride in WDW?

August 2006: Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin. I think I was stuck for about 25 minutes. Like a real cheater, I kept hitting the same target over and over to see if the score would roll-over when I hit all 9s on my board :ROFLOL:

Spaceship Earth...I think it was the Roman Section, it was a long time ago but the when I rode it again after about a decade the speach the guy was making and the smell of burning ash came right back to me!

The longest that I have ever been stuck was about 35 minutes on HM. At first, it was just a normal stop that happens every one in awhile. but then, someone tried to get out of their doom buggy. don't ask me why, I actually have no idea why somone would be stupid enough to do that, but I digress. This smart a** not only got out of his doom buggy, but tripped and broke his leg. All the lights, including the emergency lights were turned on, and all of a sudden about 5 cast members came running through the corridor. We were then informed that everyone would have to evacuate. We were about half way through already, and we had to go back out through the entrance. That is the day when I realized the whole ride is going down hill. But my group was "lucky" enough to get to walk all the way back up to the entrance. It was actually a pretty cool experience. But HM was closed for the rest of the day, and we never got to go all the way through the ride that trip, and that was deffinitely a big downer! ^.^

At the Animal Kingdom on the 13th of January, I got stuck on Dinosaur. I was stuck on there for about 25 minutes. The funny thing is that, the ride had shut down right before we got on, the cast members told our group, do not leave because they would get the ride going again soon. We stayed, we got on the ride and we got to the part right before your photo is taken with the dinasaur and the ride just stopped. It went completely black and our vehicle kept going up and down. We were trapped in the dark and in stop motion for 25 minutes. It was fun though.

On spaceship earth, when the ride stops, is it because guests with disabilites are getting on?

The longest I've been stuck on a ride is 5 minutes. I was riding the TOT at night! Talk about scary. 5 smaller kids where scared out of their pants, and even I was a little freaked out. :lookaroun

We were in the caveman section of Spaceship Earth for about 15 minutes. By the end, we were able to do the entire "oombaday oombaday madorsky oombaday" speech right along with the caveman.

My most recent trip to Epcot I was stuck in Spaceship Earth near the Egyptian scene for about 10 mins.. they just kept announcing in male and female voices that the ride would resume shortly. The animatronics continued and the music continued... just the train stopped.

Then at Buzz Lightyear, we also stopped for about 5-10 minutes.. the lasers wouldn't work though. haha. It was loud.

When I was a kid, my entire family was stuck in Small World for twenty minutes. My dad never liked going to Disney but took us because we enjoyed it. It was bad for us but pure torture for him!

I have gotten stuck on Splash Mountain twice, but it happened during two different trips.

Got stuck on fast track right outside of the portion where it gets super hot. We were there for 45 minutes until someone came and got us out. It would have sucked to get stuck in the heat. I would have been baked and sunburned and it was dark outside. We got to go to the front of the line and ride it twice in a row, so the wait wasn't so bad cause we rode it twice. Only ride problem in the 20+ years of going to Disney. not bad.

Longest for me is Carousel of Progress. We saw the same scene 3 times in a row before the theater rotated. It was quite a few years ago so I have forgotten which scene it was but it got funny after the second time.

Yeah, we've been stuck for a couple minutes on the TTA, and also on Kilamanjaro Safaris (Giraffe crossing).
One night we got stuck twice on the same ride at different BTMRR lifthills. And, once on Winnie the Pooh, a mother unknowingly held her child in a way that left his leg completely exposed to the door. It closed on him and then after they over-rode the system, it took a couple minutes to get the ride running back in normal shape.
Also, the preview of Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor was about an hour, possibly more, of delay after delay. Nothing really worked correctly, but it was a PREVIEW afterall.

We sat on Imagination for about 20mins, in between rooms where there was nothing to look at.
During the preview for LMA, we were there for at least an hour and a half. It was cool though and they kept us entertained. The worst part was waiting to be seated.

OR it coulda been like 15 minutes on SSE, but next to the speaker that says "you are now prepairing to decend back to earth"........... n they tell you the cart is gonna like spin around and stuff. My sis and I were quoting that all day.

That happened to me and my husband in '07. Our "time machine" was turned almost all the way around. We had to have been up there for almost 25 mins with that same spiel going over and over and over again. It was enough to induce a little craziness.

Wow, lots of Splash Mountain on here, a lot more than I would think.

About 50 minutes on the TTA. We just sat there not moving, watching the lift for Space Mountain and the astronauts slightly moving from the vibration for almost an hour before they evacuated us off. (All the cars had run into each other - BUMP! BUMP! BUMP! - and there we stopped.)

It was a really LONG 50 minutes.

If I had to guess, I think the TTA would be the one I've spent the longest on, I think we first stopped right by the lit Space Mountain sign inside, sat a while, it got going again, got farther into the dome, stopped again, sat there even longer, and then evac'ed.

I've also spent at least a good fifteen minutes in the cave right before the drop on Pirates of the Caribbean.

I've also been evac'ed off of Mission: SPACE, the Universe of Energy in the dinosaur diorama, one of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad's lift hills, and out of the Star Tours tunnel off the PeopleMover in Disneyland.

I was lucky enough to witness a somewhat minor collision that stopped the show for a little while. I think it was when the hero car is driving in reverse being chased by a black car, and they slightly thunked each head on in the process.
