What is the big deal with the Dole Whip?

I can't wait to try one - I actually can't decide if I want the Dole Whip or a Dole Float first!
My wife doesn't really like Pineapple - I love it, and can't really understand how someone can dislike it or the smell of it. I could probably live on Pineapple and Watermelon, at least till I died...

The big deal is that it is awesome and it is sold at VERY FEW places. In my entire life I have only every seen it at WDW and in Hawaii. I have never seen it anywhere else, so it's not like most treats that you could maybe find elsewhere.
I could as well!! Love fresh cut pineapple, and it tastes best if the pineapple has reached room temperature before being cut.
Heard that!! That does make a difference....

See, now I'm going to have to put some in the ice cream maker tomorrow. It's just soooo yummy. Gonna make a run to the store to get some pineapple juice too.

I love the Dole Whip Float myself. There is something about its sweet and cooling effects that are perfect for a day at the parks! (Actually, there is a Munchies near me that just brought it here!! They don't do the float but I can get the Dole Pineapple soft serve! Fainted again!)

I was looking on the Menchie's and it seems that if it is labeled "Hawaiian Pineapple" it is their frozen yogurt, but if it is "Pineapple" then it is Dole Whip.

I love pineapple especially fresh pineapple. I've had Dole Whips before and they don't do it for me either. I guess because they're refreshing and a treat associated with Disney trips people will love them in a special way. If everyone loved the same treats the lines for those things would be insane. I like to think my non-interest in Dole Whips leaves a spot in line or creates less holdup for someone else who loves them.
