the hula girls. This is a video I took in December.

I was hoping there was another hula fan out there! I love the music, the costumes, the ambiance of the whole scene and since I take hula lessons, I am even more in love with it.

I'll also give a mention to the Arabian scene too. I also love the costumes and the flying carpets.

- The perspective used for the Taj Mahal scene
- The Polynesian Hula dancers
- And my personal favourite: guessing the country! I've never looked them up, so as not to spoil the fun.

Chamilia beads have a Disney line, which includes this sun, the Eiffel Tower and the kangaroos from IASW The lady at the store was shocked what I knew what it was before she told me!

I love the whole ride, it has a special place in my heart because of my grandmother (it was her favorite). But my favorites are the jungle, the Polynesian and the final scene sequences Oh, the penguins, too!

I honestly like when the ride ends, but the DL version has Mary Blair-style Disney characters, and spotting them is fun. They are in their own countries, but it can be tough (Cinderella looks nothing like herself). I still don't think I've found all of them.

The hippo that's supposed to be winking, but actually looks like he's having a seizure.

Hahaha. He is my favorite too. I call him my drunken high hippo friend. Love that one eye closes more than the other. Makes him look like he had one too many the night before.

I really dig Africa..love all the greenery and that first look when you enter the room. The funky, jazzy music the musicians play swinging on the overhead elephant head always makes me smirk.

South American is also pretty nice...love the colors and all the numerous animations.
Best part i would say for me is seeing the nodding jaguar in the rainforest scene, and hearing the music in the South Seas room.

I actually really love the leopard in the rainforest with the umbrella. ^_^ He's one of my favorite animatronics ever.
