Beverly is a disgusting beverage from Italy that Italians drink before a meal. It tastes really bad, and it has a terrible bitter aftertaste, but it is interesting to try.
You can try Beverly at Club Cool, located near Innoventions in Epcot. The samples are free, along with a collection of beverages from other countries. If you hate the taste, you can just wash it out with another drink (I like the watermelon soda from China)!

Oh, it is just rancid. NASTY!! I have yet to hear ONE person who actually enjoys it. Hello, anyone like it?? It is gross and you'll need to have a few chasers ready. Mexico's fanta is really sweet and fruity. Some of them are bland.

:wave: Put me in the "like it" category. Though it is bitter, I enjoy the taste; it's the first drink I hit in Club Cool. I don't dislike Beverly, I find it serves the purpose for which it is intended, to cleanse the palate. It not only clenses, it erodes the plaque off of your teeth...so gross!! I think if I were to clense my palette, i'd have a piece of pineapple, orange or sorbet...ahhh, at least those taste good!

I have a friend who actually does enjoy it - she gets the best looks from other people when she downs a couple cups without wincing.
It's not a drink that's really intended to be swallowed, it's more like a mouth wash where you swish it in your mouth and spit it out. I think that's part of its problem/entertainment at Club Cool, where people expect it to be like Coke.
