What I think...as of today...for now...

Sorry, I have to call your bluff on this one.

Now there, is another set of blueprints, as edwardtc said. However, they are for drainage use and show the same locations as the leaked one. I don't know how widespread those plans have been distributed since they were relatively difficult to find (edwardtc knows what I'm talking about) but they haven't been posted in entirety here.

Not sure if it's related to the Expansion yet, but from Orlando Parks News:

That's the impression I was working under. I never noticed that second set of lines by the Castle Wall, however. I would imagine if those lines were for utility chases, there would be a lot more of them. What confuses me is that if that picture was indeed of a tunnel, how come we haven't seen any digging in that area, and that area is essentially a pile of dirt now?

I assembled the 3 pieces of those drainage plans into one. It really doesn't tell me much other than where they'll have storm inlets and piping

Those walls appear to be completely within the confines of the track. I would venture to say it's unrelated to the expansion, unless there are some utilities that tie-in to mains in that area, and they're just hiding the mess they're making while trying to access them.

You're right about there being far more utility chases. Timon's highlighted image really helped, and I'm a believer that they at least intended for there to a be a new tunnel spur. Whether it goes further than Belle's now, who knows.

I wish I could get a better feel for where that "tunnel" photo was taken, and which way it's looking. Heck, maybe we're seeing excavation around an existing tunnel.

Have they really put up walls at the north end of the speedway? Pics?

I also see a pair of them heading south from BELLE to the word WALL in CASTLE WALL.

Speedway - I know there are wall up in the "infield" area but they could be for anything.

Dotted lines going South from Belle's. - Marks the existing tunnel edge. I failed to mark in light green. Opps.

Oh, I just remembered, the blueprint was noteworthy because it showed a reconfigured raceway. Not a major change but it was changed and people remarked on it. So now I'm even more positive. Perhaps this post will remind someone else too.

Here's my guess of where the "backstage" picture was taken, with the arrow denoting the direction.

SeaCastle I think your right-on for that shot location. I found a over the wall picture of Pinocchio's restrooms and cast backstage access. I'm guessing the photo was taken just near there.

Here looking to the right.

Yup! Existing tunnel system for sure! Looks like the roof to the "zoo" if memory serves me correctly.

Actually I think it might be a combination of new and old. I think the recent backstage photo is actually the start of a new section. Which shoudn't be suprising because that is what is on the blueprint.

Roof over wardrobe, men's locker room and some maintenance stuff.

There used to be a lift stage here like at Cosmic Ray's called Fantasy Faire before it was removed for Ariel. The old round shade structure was the seating area for that stage. Used to feature very simple shows we called "Pig Shows" because they seemed to always feature the 3 pigs.

I'm amazed how much concrete was removed to get down to the tunnel roof. It looks like from 2 to 3 feet. Wow. I bet it's really wet on rainy days in wardrobe during this construction.

Was it a blueprint or was it this:

No, but it was the blueprint for that. I think Disney got all legal on sites posting the blueprint for that configuration which makes me think that is what we are getting with the possible exception of the mine train instead of cindy/aurora and the PH flat ride.

Nice find, thanks for posting that!

Search is your friend. Or perhaps someone has it saved and will be kind and post it.

Searching for the other blueprints on WDWMagic would be like finding entertainment on American Idol. Just by searching "blueprints", you'll have hundreds, if not thousands, of people just mentioning the word "blueprints", with most, if not all of them, referring to the leaked ones. I visit this forum several times a day, everyday. It would have been very, very difficult for me to miss a completely new set of posted blueprints. Seeing as I'm not the only regular poster who's never heard of these new leaked blueprints you're talking about, I can't assume they exist in the fan community.

I now present the power of search, using only two words "drainage blueprints"

Unfortunately for jt04, Dumbo is still in North Toontown in these blueprints.

I don't think these elevation plans are the ones you want, they cut off the Speedway/Tea Cups area. Do you think it could be yet another set of plans, JT04?

I'm not speculating, I'm just saying there is a lot more happening than what the current conventional wisdom is out there. And this is the wrong forum for "wait and see".

Everything seems to be happening exactly as Disney said it would at D23.

Um...Ok? All I was saying was what I see. Thats all the other things we have to wait and see. Maybe they will be new and only the construction workers know about it or they are going through with the original plans which. But what do I know! lol And plus we just have to wait and see why not just wait for Disney to announce what they are doing and see how cool it's going to be. So just wait and see and maybe we will see whats going on soon.

I seem to remember them but I also think I'm the only one. So who knows?

I distinctly remember a drawing that showed the raceway slightly altered when overlayed over the drawing. It's very puzzling nobody remembers this.

Is this from today?

I'm starting to think construction has stopped :veryconfu

It's labor day weekend. First, they probably don't work weekends to begin with, and they're definitely not working today or tomorrow. Construction workers don't work on holidays unless they're SIGNIFICANTLY behind schedule, and it's far too early for that to be the case.

Besides, they're making good progress. Construction projects often look stale and unproductive one initial earthwork is done, because a lot of the work is being done below grade. Then you see a lot of activity while the structure is literally going vertical, then it looks stagnant again while interiors are done.
