What Existing WDW Attractions Would You Remove?

I agree with some previous posts that the Tommorrowland Speedway can go. I was with my 7 and 8 year old neice and nephew, and they were like, "Why are we on a track? Why are we going so slow?" These cars are smelly and loud, and they don't really represent "tomorrow" in any way anymore. And if it does get removed, then there would be more space to add some theming to transition guests from Tomorrowland into Fantasyland.

For me, I can't imagine Disney World without Pirates of the Caribbean, It's A Small World, The Haunted Mansion or The Jungle Cruise. I just think these are examples of what a classic Disney attraction is and for all intents and purposes is sacred ground. Adding or refurbing? I'm totally game for but removing altogether I think would disappoint plenty of guests.

Tomorrowland Speedway, Stitch's Great Escape, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor (I love Monsters Inc but I don't like this attraction. I'd like to see the heavily rumoured moving door dark ride though.) and American Idol Experience.

I would probably remove huge swaths of Hollywood Studios. I don't think there's anything on Streets of America that I would miss. I'd also happily wave goodbye to Voyage of the Little Mermaid and the American Idol Experience. In Magic Kingdom, I could do without Stitch and Speedway. I don't care for the Winnie the Pooh dark ride either but it's not so offensive that I'm calling for its removal. In EPCOT, there are things I dislike, but so much has left that park that I can't imagine anything else going away. I'd love it if Journey into Imagination and Soarin' were refurbished, though. Animal Kingdom gets a pass from me. Ask me again after Avatarland opens, if that actually happens.

Okay, here goes (again, *sigh*):

MILF - rather it be at DHS - Mother I'd Like [...] (At the Studios too eh? perv!)
LMA - Laughing My [...] Off
AIE - ay! ouch!....exclamation used to express a sudden, unexpected pain sensation (possibly while typing his cat jumped on his lap, claws and all)
BLT - Big Large Thing. Our standard phrase for large objects we don't know the exact name of.[/

Hope that helps!

Perfect translation, thanks! Insert waving smiley.

I agree Speedway is a classic, but time has not been kind. The ride format is very dated and the placement in the park no longer makes sense.

I hoped this would come up. It's outdated, overshadowed by a real life safari existing in AK, and would't greatly benefit from a refurb. All very similar to reasons I listed when advocating for replacement of Universe Of Energy in an earlier post. What I feel like saves Jungle Cruise from being a "Universe Of Energy" is that it's deficiencies are blatantly acknowledged by the ride operators and cast members through tongue-in-cheek humor that transform it into a ride that doesn't take it self too seriously. This is one of, if not the only case, you will see this in an attraction at WDW.
Dollywood had an electric classic car ride. The gas cars are just a bit much.

MK - Stitch Great waste of space
HS - American Idol, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Indiana Jones (at least change the show)
AK - Nothing for me really
EP - Circle of Life (I can't stomach that while waiting for reservations for Garden Grill)

There's also a long list of attractions that need referb.

I'm going to go against the popular consensus and say I would remove Stitch's Great Escape.

Trust me, you're not alone on this one. I wouldn't mind seeing Stitch really make an escape from Tomorrowland either. I would really love to see a completely unique Wall-E attraction take over that spot. It's unfortunate that John Carter flopped at the box office, the film was a ton of fun and would have lent itself to some really great attraction opportunities in Tomorrowland or even Hollywood Studios.

In MK: the Speedway and Stitch's Great Escape.
Epcot: Captain EO
DHS: American Idol, Backlot Tour, Narnia, Lights Motors Action
DAK: nothing. It needs all it has and more.

I thought the Narnia thing was gonna be replaced? No? It's gonna be Jack Sparrow something something I thought.

Yeah it is getting replaced...FINALLY!!!

I'd like to see Idol ripped out and that and the old sounds dangerous theater to be combined into one big building for a dark ride.
