So....the song on splash mountain says something and we can't figure out what it says, but my husband (who makes up his own words to all songs anyway) always say's "pretty good, show us your balls" LOL...it's so funny cause he says it every time that part of the song comes on and we don't know what it says otherwise! HELP! LOL:p

I guess next time we go, I'll have to listen to the rest of the song, and the whole song, cause that just doesn't make sense :) LOL

Splash Mountain Lyrics

How Do You Do?

Words and Music by Dan Robert Allshouse
©1984 Walt Disney Music Company

How do you do?
Mighty pleasant greetin'
How do you do?
Say it when you're meetin'
How do you do?
With every one repeatin'
Pretty good sure as you're born.

What goes up is sure to come down.
A penny lost is a penny found.
How do you do?
And here's a hearty back
A little bit of this and a little bit of that.

How do you do?
Fine. How are you?
How you come on?
Pretty good sure as you're born.

Stop jumpin' around,
You'll run out of breath!
Why don't you sit back
And calm yourself?

You can hurry on now if you must.
We'll do what we like, 'cause...
That suits us.

SOLO (by Thurl Ravenscroft):
How do you do?
Mighty pleasant greetin'.
Pretty good sure as you're born.
Pretty good sure as you're born.
How do you do?
Mighty pleasant greetin'
How do you do?
Say it when you're meetin'
How do you do?
With every one repeatin'
Pretty good sure as you're born.
Pretty good sure as you're born.

The weather is good,
The fishin' is fine.
What do we do
With all of our time?

Well we sit and we think
and we wiggle our toes.
That's what you ask us.
That's what we know!

Pretty good sure as you're born.
Pretty good sure as you're born.

How do you do?
Fine. How are you?
How you come on?
Pretty good sure as you're born.
Pretty good sure as you're born.
Pretty good sure as you're born.

Time to be turning around.
Time to be turning around.
Here's lookin' for
A little more adventure.
But he's headed for
A little bit of trouble.
He's headed for
A little bit of danger.

Time to be turning around.
Time to be turning around.
Time to be turning around.

Well, just as you've definitely been born, the singer is definitely "pretty good."

On a side note, I guess I'm familiar with the phrase because it is also in my favorite Irish song: "The Unicorn Song" by the Irish Rovers. :D

Don't worry, my entire family sings "Pretty good, show us your balls" too. It's funny and it really DOES sound like they're singing that. I guess "Pretty good sure as your born" is how it really goes but I think we'll stick to the status quo, it's more amusing that way!

The first few times I heard it I tought it was either pretty good show us your bum, or pretty good show us your bone.

I remember reading a thread about this looooonnnngggggg ago. And someone thought they were saying, "Pretty good, show us your bone." :lookaroun

It wasn't until after reading that thread and watching a copy of song of the south that I figured out what they were really saying. "Pretty good, sure as your born."

My entire family (I travel with a lot of them) sing it the same as your boyfriend 'show us your balls'.

I think the closest is actually 'show us your bong'
