What do you think of the EPCOT Central Spine redesign?

The more I see these, the more I see a concept I could actually get behind to push Epcot in a new direction without totally destroying it. Re-do it into four main areas:
1. Epcot Center - The wonders of imagination and innovation. The entry, plaza, Imagination and Test Track). Open up Communicore as shown, but replace it with similar buildings to create a promenade. Odyssey is updated to Food Lab. Maybe even pull One Man's Dream into a space to round it out. This solves the update problem by having only two "future" aspects both focused on ideas (i.e. design).
2. The Natural World - The wonders of the natural world. The Land, Seas and anything else added there.
3. Other Worlds - The wonders Celebrating outer space and our fascination with it. Guardians (sci-fi space), Mission:Space (real space) and maybe a redone Wonders to be a Horizons-esque look at our view of space travel through history. This at least allows a little bit of story to tie to Guardians as well as M:S
4. World Showcase - Same as it has been.

I still am trying to find someway to keep a cohesive theme in the park. And turning the front into an odd, Project Gemini-like space without sticking to the Worlds' Fair type pavilions seems very, very odd.

This is where I feel like Epcot is going - one side of FW being for the Natural World, one being for Technology, and what is left of Communicore being different showcases of technology, edutainment, festival centers, etc. Only problem is if they wanted to do something with WoL, it would be on the Tech side and the prior theme would not fit at all.

WOL was actually all about technology in the health sciences...So it did actually fit that theme and format....which is how the park was designed in the first place.

That would be awesome, and with how many advances there has been in medicine, there would be huge potential nowadays. That said, I feel like there isn't the obvious tie in there that Disney would go for. I could see something more like robotics/AI with maybe (hopefully) a tie in to health/humans, but more so focused on IPs like Big Hero 6 and potentially Wall-E.

Big Hero 6 is the best IP tie-in for a Wonders of Life pavillion focused on health. I mean, it's about a personal health companion. ("On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate your pain?") If there was ever an IP tie-in that made sense in Epcot, that's it.

I would prefer Inside Out..

I would prefer Buzzy and Braddock. Remember, when they could be original?

Awesome! Source audio included?

I'd love to see CC return and something to replace Body Wars in the future. It's a total and complete bummer going into the "Festival" pavilion and knowing the amount of fun I use to have in there.
Brand new high quality source audio mix.

Along with a brand new edit of the rest of the pavilion with plenty of high quality, full coverage :)

As @NoChesterHester mentioned on the last page, here's all of the stormwater/various earth movement docs: http://blogmickey.com/2018/02/location-rumored-epcot-hotel-revealed-permits/

And here's the "Epcot World Center" name on one of them:

Anything to possibly comment on @marni1971 (possible name change or hotel rumors?).

If Inside Out and Big Hero 6 were created just for Epcot, no one would complain if they were added ... (to Wonders of Life .. I'd complain up a storm of Inside Out replaced Figment)
The thing that annoys me about the IP takeover is having it shoved in your face for months on end thanks to the movie and then having a ride stuck in a park where it doesn't belong. Others don't probably won't share my same opinion on this, but Nemo being added to the Seas wasn't a jam job. It fit the role of the pavilion, to preserve sea life and how you can do your part. It even may have saved the pavilion. Yes it still shouldn't be in FW, but they didn't nuke the idea of the real life consequences of harming the oceans. It just has a mascot many people recognize to deliver its message.

Then you have Frozen stuck in Norway instead of refreshing Maelstrom (it did need it, no secret there) and building a dedicated ride that would do the movie justice. You literally turned Norway into a cheap, low effort, Frozen Land. I haven't set foot in Norway since being down there when Frozen opened.

Now on the other side of things..."HEY DO YOU LIKE MARVEL I LIKE MARVEL SO YOU SHOULD WE HAVE GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY SO YOU SHOULD LIKE IT LETS STICK IT OVER HERE BECAUSE WE KNOW LITTLE BOBBY AND SUSAN WILL LIKE IT BECAUSE SUPER HERO MOVIES AREN"T BEING DRIVEN INTO THE GROUND OR ANYTHING IT"S FINE BECAUSE PETER QUILL CAME TO EPCOT CENTER WHAT WHY WOULD WE TAKE A RISK AND MAKE SOMETHING ORIGINAL IPS MARVEL PIXAR STAAAARRRR WAAAAARRRRRSSSSS". That's how I feel about it. I love Star Wars but I'm not even sure where I stand on it. SWGE will be great, but the movies are starting to hurt the enjoyment for me. I wish they would go to a "once every 4 years" release schedule.

My pitchfork is sharpened in case that's how they jam Inside Out into FW. I'd hope if they ever made an announcement like that at D23, the crowd would boo instead of cheering blindly for everything they show off. We know the impact they had on just showing Dreamfinder randomly to a room of people. Watching a live stream of D23 2017 just had me sitting there waiting for something exciting to be announced. Apparently the crowd just likes hearing the words "transform, new experiences, movie" and clapping instead of having any differing opinion. Tron and the theater had me excited just for the reason of not replacing anything, that's it. Isn't that sad?

//Rant over. Sorry everyone.

All I can say is the zoning divisions are legit.
Well I'd hope the permits weren't trying to falsify information.:p

Understood that's all you can say. EWC as an abbreviation reminds me of EWAC
aka
1200px-E-3_Sentry_exercise_Green_Flag_2012_%28Cropped%29.jpg

(I know, that's AWAC but EWAC is something Gundam related)

Can someone photoshop SSE onto the top radome?
