What Do You Think is in Phase Two for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge?

Hysterical! They were talking about that Phase 2 years ago when Pandora opened... The film never came out, Phase 2 is not going to happen...
The fan boards can talk about it, but unless it is in fact greenlit, it's not happening. They will spend money elsewhere in the park... Perhaps Chester and Hester...but very doubtful they would throw any more money at Pandora
I wouldn't totally rule out an Avatar expansion. It doesn't make sense to add anything into this popular land today but once the first of the 4 rumored movies come out, it could be possible. Just really depends how well the first 2 of the four movies do with audiences. If it's popular, I wouldn't doubt they use that expansion pad. Batuu is a bit more difficult with the trilogy ending but I'd imagine the next trilogy involving Batuu in some way. Lets see if Avatar actually gets released 2021 as it keeps getting pushed back.

The movie sequel has been rumored since Avatar first premiered a decade ago.
The land was supposed to accompany the sequel which has again gotten pushed now an additional 2 years and production has still not begun... I doubt very seriously they would put any more money into this area of the park when there are other parts of the park that need it much more... They cannot even repair the broken and missing effects from Kali River Rapids and Everest...
I would guess with Batuu the most we will see is additional food and merchandise...though it would be wonderful to think they would add Jabba's Palace Dinner attraction and another ride or two...

Definitely a Table service Restaurant. That seems to be the model these days if Toy Story Land is any indication. Open the land with a quick/counter service then add Table service later. Im not quite sure of their thinking there but there must be some reason

Actually the next Avatar sequels are in production now. Avatar 2 and three are finished with production and 4 and 5 are in pre-production. Yes - he's actually making 4 of them back-to-back.

He’s a madman and I love it. I’ve never disliked a movie of his so let’s see if the streak continues.

Mandalorian. They would be foolish not to capitalize on the success of this one. Making it fit is a different story.
I'm thinking stunt show and a C or B ticket flatride.
You just got the wheels in my head turning. What if Echo Lake becomes Indiana Jones + Star Wars stuff that isn’t sequel trilogy? Add an Indy ride, a Mandalorian show, Speeder Bike or Landspeeder Coaster, keep Star Tours, etc.? Maybe get rid of the current stunt show and expand into the parking lot.

Edit: Backlot Express becomes another Cantina. Mos Eisley.

As stated, the movies are actually already in development. While your point on Kali & EE are valid, those two original rides don't put a fire under IP driven Disney. If Avatar does become popular and they are releasing four movies, that gives them time to add to an already built land. They wouldn't pass the chance to not capitalize on Avatar, which already has an expansion pad. Kali and Yeti are original attractions and it's not shocking that Disney hasn't updated these attractions yet. They're probably waiting for an IP to tie in.

I want a Jedi Campfire BBQ, with Qui-Gon and Vader burning in separate pyres while families use the flames to make smores.

Everyone really is clamoring for a table service restaurant. Y’all really wanna keep spending money here!?!

Well, hopefully when they do build it, it’s filled to the rafters with animatronics and performers. Give me Batuu Casa Bonita!
It’s like the Cantina; you know they’re gonna be yanking money from your wallet, but the experience is too enticing to pass up. That said, I would be disappointed if a phase 2 only consisted of a restaurant.

That is patently incorrect

Not only has box office declined precipitously...more importantly product orders have decreased significantly

They also put perhaps the biggest movie franchise ever arguably on”ice” at the box office

Not a single thing in production

You can believe whatever you want...I’m gonna go with the truth until further notice

Aggressively stating something as true doesn't make it so, considering Rise of Skywalker is unlikely to be any kind of box office failure and with numerous projects in the works in some form or another with a new trilogy in the works and two new Disney+ shows...you can believe what you want but that hardly screams "on ice" to me.

Who said a failure? But “not failing” was not the goal when they bought the first and largest franchise in modern Hollywood history that generated more than $100 bil in licensing deals - at least.

And “on ice” is exactly what Iger did to the movies...and movies are exactly what Star Wars was made from. Apparently ones that every stupid analyst in California can’t figure out the success behind?

Disney plus is an opportunity...but on both sides. Is that for Star Wars? Or is it for the streaming service that Iger is about to retire on?

You know...being dismissive without the insight doesn’t make you “less wrong” 😉

Star Wars movies are not “on ice”. There are numerous movies at different stages of development. What they said was they were backing away from their original plan of a new movie every 6-12 months which was probably the smart move. So for the next few years Disney+ will be where new SW content comes from. But new SW movies are coming and probably will continue to be made long after we are all dead.
