First glimpse of that beautiful verandah!

Once back in the room I took some pictures of our lovely room. For some reason I didn't take any the first time I was in the room. Oops!

I love the artwork!

I love the split bathroom concept. It worked great. It was nice to both be able to get ready at the same time. I didn't care for the fact that the tub was tiny. I am much more of a bath person. I was able to deal though. LOL.

Mirror shot!

It was good timing on our part, since our luggage had shown up already. We could unpack a few things before it was time for the sail away party.

It was time to head on up to the Sail Away Party!

Hey look its, @derelicte19, @PartOfYourWorld, @Ariel484 and @HollyBelle!

Around this time I was on the phone with my mom. She tells me that the ship is moving and I'm telling her its not. She swears it is, yet I feel no movement. I "felt" the boat move more when it was docked than when it really was moving.

We went up on the deck so everyone at home could see us on the webcam. I may have teared up a little telling my mom bye. They could all see me on the webcam and I could hear them yelling in the background. It was a very odd moment.

A little more Sail Away Party.

We turned around to go back to the room, when I heard it. When You Wish Upon A Star was playing. I really cried at this point. It was so surreal. I knew it was coming, but it still caught me by surprise. It was amazing!

Selfie on the verandah!

Two of the three Jess!

Woo-hoo! It was great to re-visit the Sail Away Party, as I just did the online check-in for Girls Cruise 2014. :D

Those wonderful oversized verandahs <sigh>

My bestie and I had to postpone our cruise till January. We were not able to book the exact same room, but we are guaranteed a 5E, so we will definitely have one of the oversized aft verandahs!

Oh no! :( What a bummer!!

Love the pics of the sail away show though. The horn made me cry, too!

Me either! I may cry a little when I realize ya'll are on the Girls Cruise and I'm not.
You have to watch the webcam and wave to us!

I'm loving the sail away pics. I feel ya on the weirdness saying goodbye to your mom. I never expected to be so emotional saying goodbye to my guys before I had to switch the phone to airplane mode. It's such a "final" thing in its own way. I hope to not fall into that this year. If they really need me they can reach me and vice versa. When you mentioned that part of sail away it really struck a nerve, tho. I felt ya!

You will have to remind me of the exact day when it gets closer. I will definitely look for ya'll!

Thanks! Everyone is loving the sail away pics, I just hope the rest impress also!

This may sound odd, but my feeling of sea sickness seemed to go away after talking to my mom. I was feeling much better after that phone call.

We got ready for our first show and dinner.

Presenting.........The Real Housewives of Disney!

Tonight was the Golden Mickeys! It was a very cute show. My favorite part may have been when Tarzan came out in next to no clothes. LOL. I know @Tiggerish will agree with me! I kept asking where I could buy one of him from. There was no catalog or store carrying him. LOL.

We did a little wandering around.

Tonight's dinner was in Enchanted Garden. The restaurant was beautiful. I loved the flower chandeliers and the garden theme.

Our table!

Menus!

Lobster Ravioli was my appetizer this evening. I have never had lobster ravioli before but it was delish! The broth was very light and refreshing.

My entree was Steak with a Double Baked Potato. The waiter gave me the demi glace on the side so I could try it. The demi glace was very good. I would definitely order with the demi glace next time.

Dessert menu!

I had an ice cream sundae. It was a basic sundae, but it was a great ending to the meal.

These chocolate cubes were the highlight of the meal! They were a bittersweet chocolate. There was just enough sweetness to keep them from being too bitter to enjoy. I could have eaten a whole plate of them. I can't wait to have more on the next cruise!

Here I am accepting my Golden Mickey!

On the elevator on my way to the D Lounge.

We were hanging out in Pink, the champange bar. I loved all the shades of pink. It's my favorite color!

Diane and I hit up the buffet that was set up near the bar area.

The food was okay, but nowhere near as good as dinner earlier!

The night was ended in Skyline! We chatted for awhile, before everyone went there seperate ways. Jess, Diane, Siobhan and I walked back up to deck 7. Jess and Diane went their way and Siobhan and I went towards our rooms. I enjoyed the verandah and read the Navigator for tomorrow before heading to bed. It had been a long day, but I very exciting day! Couldn't wait for tomorrow!
