What do you do while waiting in long lines?

Talk to my daughter, check the Disney app for wait times at other rides or when our next FP is or the time of our ADR. But never, ever, read my work e-mail. I'm on vacation. And sometimes hoping the line moves faster because I suddenly have to.... (it would be TMI to say).

Isn't that the truth. So many times I've want to tap a young lady on the shoulder and say, "honey, leggings and tights are not pants". It's the mom in me.

Lol, there are time the wife and I take a seat and count how many "leggings as pants" incidents we see. The number gets high quick.

Look at people, what their wearing (wondering if they got dressed in the dark that morning).
Lean on something.
Watch kids climbing on railings and rope dividers and then falling down.
Listen to others conversations.

I'm always amazed at the young women who thought that wearing - as my daughter calls them - hooker shoes (you know, the high heel platform shoes that oh, when you are my age, you will regret having worn those shoes kinda shoes) - to MK is a good idea.

And watch the parents of those kids climbing on railings and ropes be completely absorbed in their cell phone while their child attempts to take a nose dive off a railing.

I must admit Disney is the best place to people watch. People are so much more amusing than other animals. Said by the woman who can trip on a smooth, flat surface.

We talk about our day so far and rest of the day to come. Laugh and cry at the variety of folks near us. There is ALWAYS an outfit that just scares us. Like too short shorts or a turtle neck and jeans in the heat.

We also watch and sort some people into what they are wearing catagories. There are those that should and those that shouldn't. So far, the shouldn'ts are ahead. Don't they ever look into a mirror? Maybe they only have magic mirrors.

I won't go on a ride if the wait time says 40 minutes or more. I'll either do it earlier/later in the day or use a fastpass. Instead I'll ride less popular attractions, see a show, eat, find somewhere to just chill, or go back to the hotel for a midday nap.
