A slow 2.37 miles outdoors as I'm breaking in my new Day Glo orange Asics. And the sun came out, finally.

Major house cleaning this afternoon in prep for Christmas - that should add to my cardio workout. And I've yet to wrap any gifts...

I know this isn't running related, but you guys are my peeps: I'm getting very antsy because one day next week (yet to be determined) we will be telling the kids that we're going to WDW in January as their main Hanukah present! I can't wait.

Happy Hanukkah to you and your family!

I'm going in January, also. Have some DVC points I need to use before February that can't be banked. Not going for Marathon weekend - not ready for that race yet....

To reiterate what @JillC LI said, y'all are my peeps, too. So in light of the season (and this post ain't a running one)...

In celebration of whatever holiday you observe (or not), my wishes to all of you and your family for Peace and Joy.

I'd say something prosaic about distances run and fast paces, but a philosopher I am not. My apologies to Yoda. ;)

Y'all are the best!

Another 3-5-3 week, have to do 11 on Christmas Eve morning. Tuesday 3-miler was terrible, not sure what was wrong with me. No energy. Maybe the 98% humidity? Rest of the week was fine. Moon was out for the 5-miler after a dreary week.

Yeah, it's getting warm and humid again in the South. So much for my White Christmas....

I've got a 4 miler, with a magic mile, Saturday morning.

11 miles this morning. Kinda strange since it was just steady, no high and lows like usual. I'll take it.

Yep, run started at 45F and was already 60 at finish. Going to be 75 today. Wonder if the golf course is open Christmas morning? :D

Got up at 0500 after a 4-day weekend for a 3-miler in heavy fog. Could not see a thing. Scary.

But I got one of those personal weather stations for Christmas. Very cool. Now I don't have to rely on an airport forecast 30 miles away with a thermometer probably sitting next to a warm building. :)

That's a nice gift.

5.5miler today in the sun, and pretty mild temps on our boardwalk right around 60degrees. But it was super windy coming home. Still managed 7:38/mile pace.

I ran Christmas Eve, after Candlelight Service. It was mild again, and I did my 5.5 loop on the boardwalk. It was a still night, a magical night! Something I will remember.

Since the sun has actually shown up (a very rare occurrence here in winter) I decided to do an easy half hour run in 39 degree temps. The last two weeks before Christmas it was nearly impossible to find time so now that the office is closed for 10 days I have the time but must brave the cold if I want to run.

Another 3-5-3 Light Side training week done, one more to go. 12-miler this weekend. Morning temps have been around 60 but a cold front is moving in now. Back to the cold weather gear Saturday.
