5 miles yesterday outdoors. Hoping the TM repair people can actually fix the problem when they supposedly show up tomorrow. It's dropping into the teens with the wind chill here on Thursday!

di my first marathon this morning .. 5:21:48, race repot comming soon, very cold but fun!

Congratulations! That's almost my first marathon finish time to the second! (chip time was about 10 minutes faster). Looking forward to your race report when you can walk again :)

After an early morning 30 minute session with the trainer, 30 minute brisk walk on the TM...the last 15 minutes were under runDisney's minimum pace. Was a little winded as still have some chest congestion, but I managed to walk 1.7 miles. Would have run a few minutes, but I wasn't wearing my Asics and didn't want to kill both my feet and legs before the 7 mile training run this Sunday.

Felt good to be back at the gym. Even though it was at the crack of dawn....

Excellent 20, on Sunday not because of my time (I did a steady 9:55 from start to finish) but because I watched my Titans win.

Monday elliptical for an hour

Yesterday very slow 5

Today going to tackle a average paced 6.

Wow, 20 miles at under a 10 m/m?! I am impressed....and envious!

3.1 miles through the neighborhood. Man, loving these cool mornings...was still in the low 50s when I headed out shortly after 10am. Average pace was 14:36; fastest was 12:10.

Quads were a little sore from the squating/stretching workout yesterday. Man, I'll feel them tomorrow, in spite of all my stretching.....

Started my new job this week. Trying to get a new routine figured out. Started 3-5-3 this week, Tuesday in a warm rain, warm 5-miler Wednesday, cold 3-miler this morning but the clouds cleared and the full moon was out lighting up the streets. 10 miles this Saturday. Did I mention I'm not training for Dopey this time? :D

3 mile speed workout last night on TM. And it freaking died when I was almost done! Literally the whole unit turned itself off and I smelled a burning odor. It came back on awhile later but lord knows what is wrong with it. I have a call into the manufacturer now because it comes with a 12 year warranty on the motor and this seems motor related (not belt related like my recent repairs), but I have a feeling I'm going to have to buy a new TM and quick! I wish I hadn't put $300 of repairs into it over the past few months. Sigh.

Weird weather around here. Single digits last Thursday, 20s last Friday, snow on Saturday, and 50s on Sunday! Glad to say I was able to time my 7 miler for the gorgeous temp on Sunday. Today we're back down to 30. Weird. And my TM is still only working intermittently as well. Gonna have to shop for a new one soon.

Sounds like Santa needs to bring you a new TM for Christmas. :)

Glad its sudden death didn't result in you flying off it and getting injured.

2.93 mile outdoor run in a brisk 49 degrees. Average pace was 14:36, fastest was 11:35 (got in that zone the last .5 miles).

Will be warming up later in the week. Christmas Day is supposed to be 78. @dreamfinder, if we send you some warm air, can you ship some cooler air to Florida? I miss the cold (ok, cold for Florida) Christmases we used to have. Stupid global warming.....

After 30 minute session with trainer, did 30 minutes on the elliptical.

@JillC LI, how's the TM doing? Notice any LARGE presents under the tree? :)

We're supposed to warm up down here in Florida. However, was 47 went I left the gym at 9 this morning....and overcast. Don't mind the cold, but we've not seen much of the sun for the past few days. Guess it will be another brisk run tomorrow morning. My daughter has been hoping for snow on Christmas Day. In Florida....

LOL, well I ran on it last night and it didn't shut down on me. It still doesn't sound quite right, but I was able to complete 3.5 miles. I conducted a little test and it seems like I feel the belt slip slightly only when I am decreasing the speed (hence the problem I had during my last speed workout because I was moving the speed up and down constantly). I am going to try to make it last as long as possible although it is probably on its last legs. So no, no large presents looming :) Actually, it's the sort of present I will buy for myself when the time comes because I need to test them out and pick the one I like eventually. Fingers crossed for now.

And smart call on not doing that 14 miler on the cruise ship - it would be like a gazillion laps around the deck! Good luck with that White Christmas!
