What did you do?

7.84 miles down the lovely St. Marks Trail. Even though the trail is canopied (fellow Southerners know what that means), it was brutally hot and humid.

When will the cooler weather get here?

Tried to run tonight but despite the fact that my hip doesn't hurt I just felt really "unstable" and so in the end did my workout at a very fast walk. Then I came home to do some yoga stretching and core exercises to work on my balance. Only a month to go before the DLP half so I'd really like to know that I can run at least some of it - although my only real goal is to finish

4 miles last night. Tried to squeeze it in before it got dark out (because my TM isn't fixed yet), but it was pitch black by the time I finished. I kept lifting my feet really high to avoid tripping on any sidewalk cracks. I probably looked like an idiot but at least it was too dark for anyone to see me! LOL. It was also somewhat cool and I was able to go a bit faster which was nice.

So, walk out the door at 0520 for a 3-miler and, wait, where's the 97% humidity?!? Yes, it dropped into the 70s this morning. Half moon high in the sky lighting up the roads and stars everywhere. Beautiful morning.

But have to start Wednesday 5-milers tomorrow morning until Paris. :D

Sounds like a good time for a run.

6.61 miles on the bike yesterday.

I'm sick, sick of running on the TM, so I got up a little early and ran 2.75 miles, with a .75 mile cool down walk.

When is fall getting here? Tomorrow will be fine with me. :joyfull:

Be happy you have the option. I have to run outside in this heat because my TM is still broken. Technician came the other night and said I need a new walking belt and some small power connector. Have to wait for parts to come in and then another service call. Lord knows how long that will take. In the meantime I'm out in the heat and humidity. 5 miles last night.

Hope your TM is fixed soon. Know what it's like to be out in the heat and humidity. While we have mild winters, living in the South in the summer is brutal. And it seems to get hot earlier and earlier each year and hotter than the previous year at this time.
