I'm with Radiohost. We rush to MK and ride HM first, every single trip! We love it! I always have to get chicken strips..maybe not on the upcoming trip, though; cotton candy and a Dole Whip need to make their way into the visit as well. Everything else is pretty much fair game. I would like to start a traditional photo with my son somewhere-I was thinking in the stocks by HM. I can embarass his SO when he gets older. We will always have a semi-annual/annual photo of him there!

Watch the MK opening ceremony on our first day.
Buy Mickey balloons for the kids on the first day.
Go to the spot where DH proposed for a quick kiss.
Always get DS's pic with Capatin Hook and Mr. Smee.
Watch Spectromagic our first night.
We always have a meal at the castle at some point during our trip.
Take pics of the kids next to the Mickey totem pole outside of the Mercantile at the WL.
Our last ride at the MK on our last night is always the Carousel.
Time our boat ride back to WL on our last night to be during Wishes so we can see fireworks over the castle as it disappears from view for the last time.
Watch the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach at WL on our last night.

We have a ride where we always begin first in each of the 4 parks.

MK = Haunted Mansion

EPCOT = Spaceship Earth

Hollywood Studios = The Great Movie Ride

Animal Kingdom = Kilimanjaro Safari

We are always there to watch the park open...I've always felt like it sets the tone and the mood for the whole day...I think it helped our daughter maintain good behavior for most of the day when we would go because of this (she was 2 and then later 3).

Not really a tradition, but we would either eat sandwiches and drink pop (well she drank water) from our own cooler at Ariel's Grotto (we always appreciated Disney allowing this) or we would eat at uh.....ok...my mind just drew a blank.....Harbour House??? Where they have the Starboard Deck sandwich, I think that's Harbour House. We always enjoyed doing either one of those.

We also just didn't feel like it had been a "normal" trip to Disney unless my hubby and I watched people eating HUGE turkey legs in the 100 degree Florida sun.....it just doesn't seem right. We loved watching people eating those things and trying to stay cool at the same time..it's just funny to us.

That said...I've secretly wanted to try one but just never did...I either wasn't hungry or was too hot or something or other!!!

It's not a Disney trip for me without at least one visit to TTA and Impressions de France. I have my earliest memories at WDW on those 2 attractions and JII (original).

I always ride the Haunted Mansion first. Another tradition I have is if there are evening magic hours at the MK I always try to ride the Haunted Mansion at midnight.

1. On the way to the airport in the car, we listen to Paul Simon and Lion King music. (Paul Simon because that's what we listened to the first time and now it's mandatory).
2. I always eat as many chocolate covered frozen bananas as I can. I can make them at home, but the Disney ones are just special. Do they put espresso in that chocolate or something? It tastes so extra rich.
3. Usually on the first or second day we eat at Tony's Town Square during the afternoon parade.
4. We always eat at Rose and Crown and usually try to time it with Illuminations.
5. I beg whoever is with me to let me watch Illuminations as many times as possible, but we always end up doing whatever they want and regretting it. :D
6. We always take the afternoon off to lounge at the hotel or waterpark.
7. If we have a rent a car we always go to Goodings grocery store and pick up orange blossom mini muffins.
8. We always stop at DAK on the way out so I can say goodbye to my tree.
9. We always bring a bottle of Malibu rum for those afternoon breaks.

Arrival day is a relaxing one. No parks. Chef Mickey's and a monorail ride. If time permits we go to DTD for ice cream. Try to time it, so we watch fireworks from the beach @ Poly.

We always arrive at the resort after lunch, so we check in, unpack, and let the kids swim. Spend some time at Downtown Disney, eating and window shopping that night. First full day is always spent at the Magic Kingdom! We ride as many things as we can, stake out our spot on Main Street for Spectromagic and Wishes. My DD and I sit there while DH and DS go to Casey's for our supper. We picnic on Main Street waiting for the fun to begin!! Our last day is always spent at the Magic Kingdom!! I always hate to leave! :(

All of my friends that are into Disney have adopted the tradition of calling each other from the red phone booth situated on the top tier of the Canada pavilion at EPCOT. Of course, the last time we visited, because the "5" button was broken, we had to compromise and call people from inside the booth with our cell phones.

Have I mentioned today how much I adore the Canadian pavilion?

My wife and I have been to Disney together 4 different times now, and last year was the first time on property. The other three were not so much "Disney trips" as they were trips to Kissimmee where we do several things including 4 days at the Disney parks.

Having said all that, there are two traditions from these off property visits that we kept last year when we stayed on property and plan to keep on all future trips on property. One is to stop at the Walmart next to Medeival Times and the other is to play mini-golf at the Pirates Island mini-golf place next to that Walmart.

upon entering the room: flop down on the bed- good to be home
At the magic Kingdom : dole whips and on to the haunted mansion
At the hollywood studios : tower of terror then lunch at brown derby
Epcot : SSE and biergarten !
Animal kingdom : nothing yet
And my overall tradition: Spending money like WATER ( but you have to say it llike you are deeply offended at the vast amount of money I have spent ) and taking far too many pictures of the same things over and over again.

My family and i always hit Magic Kingdom the first day- and always eat at Chef Mickey's our first night. As for a minor tradition we now have to stop for a snack in each of the countrys (eggroll in china, pastry in france, pretzel in germany etc...). My own personal tradition is that i collect Disney Pens (only like the ones that resemble a characters' head or are about a ride etc..) I have over 50 already and hope to continue my tradition and purchase a lot more!! :]

I dont know if I have any traditions. Me and my dad have gone so much over the years since 2004 after we became APs. I know that we have the big trip in July where we stay off property for 2 wks. In July, my mom and brother come with us aswell as another relative. She usually annoyingly likes to tag along so I guess my traditions during July now is waking up on the first day and trying to sneak out of the condo before she wakes up, and head to the MK, just my dad and me.

Hit Magic Kingdom the first day and shut it down. The next day, usually a Monday, head to Animal Kingdom. Since we can get through that park in less than a day, head to MGM [no name comments] and close it down with Fantasmic. Then, Tuesday is a waterpark. Oh, to be there now...or anywhere there is no snow or ice. :(
