Wow, it's so much darker than I expected it to be. I kind of like it.
In early December, expect the Marketplace parking lots to close as work immediately switches to the second parking garage construction.
looks goodPhoto update as of Thursday, Oct 30.
The northwest corner of the parking garage's decorative structure appears complete, ready for installation of plantings.

that is the pours right, not the clearing and site prepThe 2nd garage will begin April/May 2015
My understanding is that clearing of the 2nd lot area will begin after the 1st of the year and yes concrete April/May time frame.
would they really close off another parking are before the holiday season? seems like they would take a short little break and start the new garage/construction in january
especially if the new garage is being built by the same contractors seems like they'd be in for a mini vaca for the holidays
looks good
Take with a grain of salt if you like, but I talked with 3 DtD parking lot CM's last week, all of whom reported that they had been told the following:
Garage number 1 opens to guests right around Thanksgiving.
Marketplace area lots close to guests December 1 to start immediate preparations for second garage.
Spaces gained from garage 1 exceed spaces lost from marketplace area.
Auxiliary parking in Team Disney, Hess, and Casting lots will continue to be used.
I am kind of saddened by what I am not seeing...parking space availability indicators.Photos from inside the garage on Nov 2
It's brighter than a hospital hallway. They have each row labeled as well, and apparently Orange is the color for the first floor!

I will keep my fingers crossed that they are coming.
Thanks. I thought I had read somewhere that the parking garage would have them. This article says they will have them, but you are right they are not evident in those pictures.

Hopefully they will not be going with the sort of half way option where there are displays saying how many spaces are available one at level but then nothing as to where they may be on said level. This article says they will have them, but you are right they are not evident in those pictures.

Let us hope. The "by row" system is very simple. If the light is green there is a spot available. It saves a lot of driving around.Hopefully they will not be going with the sort of half way option where there are displays saying how many spaces are available one at level but then nothing as to where they may be on said level.
Looks like a parking garage.
hopefully its a comprehensive system like this http://aadvantagegeek.boardingarea....gh-tech-american-airlines-terminal-a-parking/This article says they will have them, but you are right they are not evident in those pictures.

woulda been nice to see some more color inside the garage, but seems like they are goig with the AK lot theory, complete lack of theming visual interest to make us appreciate the theming once we get to the springs more.Looks like a parking garagee.
Looks like a parking garage.
The backstory is that this was once the remnants of Meriwether Pleasure's business operations but the land was bought by a visionless developer.I am really disappointed that there is no theming inside the garage. No back story or elaborate props...just parking spots
I am kidding, but I'm waiting for the first person who seriously says this.
