Well we decided to go ahead and head to the World in August!! :sohappy: No waiting til 2010! Life is short right? I guess the sensible side of me lost this time! :lookaroun

Anyway we did okay with ADRs but I was really surprised at how much harder it was to get ressies than it was last year. Don't know if it is going a week earlier than we normally do or if it is the switchover to 90 days instead of 180. I am hoping that it is the switchover and that crowds will not be too bad because they are so great when we go in late August/September

We did not get Le Cellier..:( I am going to call back everyday and hope someone cancels.

We did get a few new places:
San Angel Inn, Whispering Canyon, Le Chefs De France and Sci Fi for Lunch. ( I have heard that one is not that good but the kids want to eat there anyway for the atmosphere.) As well as our normal faves. (Crystal Palace, Brown Derby, Coral Reef, Chef Mickey's)

Does anyone know if Remy is still appearing at Le Chefs De France? I would love to see him.

It feels so great to have a countdown again!! (that isn't in 2010) :dazzle:

That's great! I'm glad you were able to get a few adr's that you wanted. We plan on trying Sci-Fi in Oct. I'm still not sure if we'll do lunch or dinner.

Oh, I'm so happy for you! It's great to have a trip on the books!

I hope you'll be pleased with Sci Fi. My kids really enjoy it. I enjoy the quiet and coolness.

Keep trying for Le Cellier. However, may I suggest Kona if you can't get in. I really do find their steaks to be even better than Canada.

Have a great time!

CONGRATS! We'll be there a few days together. I still have to wait until next week o book ADRs and I'm geting nervous.
Thank you! Maybe we will cross paths at some point..lol .

Call early if you can when you can book, I was really shocked at the difference in this year and last year,it was much harder getting what we wanted. Again, hoping it is the switchover and that the crowds are not going to be that bad.*fingers crossed*

Thanks! Overall I am happy with the ADRs, we did get Boma too, I forgot that one, it is a favorite too. I am looking forward to trying the new places. Sci-Fi looks very cool from the pics I have seen.

Thank you! It does feel great for it to be official.:)
We have never tried Kona I will keep that in mind. It is at the Poly right? Another one we could not get was Ohana's Breakfast but I only tried on one particular day so I may be able to swap around and get it DD so wants to eat with Stitch. I am sure the kids will like Sci-Fi from browsing the menu and it looks like it will be a fun experience.

for the sci fi, the best thing on the menu is the burgers, after that the milkshakes, if the appitiser was larger I'd say go for the tomato basil soup. At whispering canyon cafe, ask for the ketchup. :animwink: we'll be there in august too, staying at BLT 6 days after it opens, yea!!!

Yay congrats on your trip!!

From what I've read, I believe Remy will be appearing at Chefs de France until September, but don't quote me.

Have a great trip!
Good luck in the August heat!
