personally i wouldn't want anyone else for Wonka! for those who knows Depp's work, you know that he tends to choose off-beat characters...Wonka's perfect for him! but i'm tellin ya, do NOT go in that theater looking for the old Willy Wonka. with Burton, Elfman, and Depp teaming up once again (for the 3rd/4th time) i tend to think that this version will be much darker....BUT i really won't know until i hear further news about it. i can't wait for it! i've always loved the Gene Wilder version...i can't wait to see what these 3 fellas do with it! :sohappy:
