Well, at least this one wasn't in costume.

I'm totally flabergasted - she met him over the phone, used his employee ID to get a room discount and free admission to the parks for her and her family, spent the day with him, invited him back to the room, and fell asleep while he was in the room with them? Is it just that I'm from NY or does everyone else see that this had trouble written all over it? I would think that as a tourist, parent, person, whatever, you have a responsibility to yourself and your family to avoid circumstances that are potentially threatening.

Totally agree!

My guess is that she is not as much off an upstanding person as she would want us to believe. She took a free room, free tickets and sounds like she spent the day in the parks with the guy. Not that rape is acceptable because it is a violent act that no woman deserves but she is not exactly using her best judgement either. She placed herself and her kids in a bad spot, it is not WDW's fault at all.

Haha so she invited him into the room and then fell asleep while he was in it? Sounds to me like she was hinting "lets get it on"

Oh man - this whole thing sounds shady...
...she "fell asleep while 'he was watching TV' "? ?! For real?! What kind of person goes through all of that?
And then, how do you explain the story of:
"I must have fallen asleep because I felt him pulling down my pants"..."and then I woke up and he was raping me"? So wait, she acknowledged (in some state of being awake) that he was pulling down her pants, but didn't think enough of it to be worth waking up...and then waiting until that to wake up?!

I don't mean to be insensitive, but it sounds like there was some serious Crunk Juice involved, or something!

This article has a copy of the police report. She claims he raped her one day, but she still met with him the next day to get into Epcot for free.

Right! Who would do that?

Don't forget her kids were in the room too, so she not only put herself in danger, she also endangered her kids.:brick:

My guess is that she met him over the Internet, went to Disney with intentions of getting a free vacation for her & her two kids. She didn't like him "in person" so the next day she started looking for a way to get out of this mess. I just don't believe her story at all.

All of this and back pain on Space Mountain. This is going to be a whopper of a suit.

All kidding aside, this is obviously a pretty terrible thing. However, I will never understand how some people can make such bad judgement calls sometimes.

I can not believe what I just read. I mean this seriously and not as a joke (although the tone may be hard to determine in print) - I know ticket prices are high but who on earth would trade self respect for admission to a park. This is seriously messed up.

I think there is a side to this story we aren't seeing. Given all the close interaction and physical contact, my guess is these 2 met online and hit it off, then he told her he worked at Disney and she got him to hook her up. They agreed to spend the week together and somewhere in the middle of the trip this woman decided she was done using this jerk and tried to find a way out of it, so she pulled the rape card and got him in trouble. IMO they are both at fault, him for using his job to get some tail and her for using a guy just for the hookup.

The Police Report was an interesting read. If it is true which would not surprise me is just sick but weird as well. You would think she would have just got up and pushed him out the door when she first wanted him to leave.
