Happy Labor Day, all!! We are "laboring" on the road today. And I'm sooo bored. Was gonna pass the time by uploading/editing our pictures but the laptop is dead...something wrong w/ the power cord so its not charging. *bangs head on car door*
Loooong day of driving ahead. 10 hrs plus stops and we have to make it to Columbus, OH (we're just out of KC now)...we lose an hour in the time change so its gonna be a late one. So not able to stop & see Nibbs this time :-(

Hey Stephie! Have safe travels today - where are you stopping in C-bus? Bless your heart you're heading across I-70 right? The most boring interstate on the planet, I think. Y'know I'm only about an hour north of I-70 when you get to the Cambridge area :animwink:, so make sure you give a shout out! :wave:

Actually, I can think of another one...I-95 thru Georgia. Absolutely NO rest areas to stop at, just crappy little fast food joints that are completely filthy. :hurl: I think we're going to have a 'no liquids in Georgia' rule the next time we drive it. :lol:

Sometimes...but we'll try for SC or FL anyway. :lol: Joel actually did a lot better about holding it on this trip...we didn't need to stop quite so much.
Problem was, this was on the trip home, which is always seems to take twice as long as the trip down.

We're staying @ the Westin in Columbus (Adam has work points for there & they allow dogs). Its on High St? *shrug*

:ROFLOL:Oh yes, trip home is always just a downer! :zipit: It was a reminder last sunday when we made the 7 hour ride back from Witchita Falls Tx. Just got a call from Carina..she is coming home from work early..tummy ache..and she does not like to use bathroom at work!
