Currently watching the Macy's parade (very nice in HD) and later I'm going to my academic advisor's house along with about 20 others in the department with nowhere to be today for some genuine Thanksgiving food! Have a great one, folks!

My turkey is in the oven and everything else that can be ready is ready.
Later the potatoes get cooked and mashed, followed by the mad rush to get everything on the table before it gets cold.

We had our big meal at lunchtime - now we nibble. I brought a platter full home for Mike - he had to work until 3:30 today. He should be home in about 20 minutes.
