Never heard of that. The hostess records the gifts given, but as far as I know, the mother takes care of the thank-you notes.So apparently the hostess is also suppose to buy the mother's thank you cards...is that true

Yeah I knew about the recording of the gifts but the thank you notes I was like wait I also have to purchase the thank you notes, but thanks Betty:kiss:

That is what I have heard as well...record gifts, but it's not necessary that you purchase the thank you cards. Of course, you can, if you would like, get cards for her so that people can address them when they come to the party, so that part of the job is done for the mother. I've seen that happen before. (You can get cheap cards at the Dollar Store for that if you choose that path.)
