Weird. Why did the lights go out at Epcot this early morning?

They're working on the parking lot. They may have shut the lights off if they were installing something new for the bus loop they're doing. That, or, well, Epcot's power died. It happens. Or, since it was early morning, planned power outage. They do that to test redundant systems for proper function.

I love it when Merf creates a cover story for my under cover ops.

At least it wasnt during the day when it went out... Remember when Epcot was closed because the transformer blew for epcot, it was like what 6 months before mission space was ready, and rumors flew Mission space blew it up... lol

Maybe it was to test the plans for the big anniversary, but it blew the power out so they scraped it :lookaroun

My bad folks. I needed complete darkness to run my little stealth operation in the park. If you look closely, in the time the lights were out, I reassembled Horizons, WoM, the original Imagination, and TLS. Unfortunately I ran out of time to change the exteriors back to their original glory.

In other news today, guest satisfaction at Epcot skyrocketed.

And you didnt reopen Odyssey!!!! the nerve of you!!!!!

Eisner wanted to revisit the park for old times sake and the only way they could get him in was under cover of complete darkness.

Maybe the geosphere is actually a transformer in disguise, and when no one was looking he transformed into a massive decepticon and went and smashed the electrical room into bite size pieces, then returned to his respected place in society and morphed back into a Siemens sponsored structure (just wanted to throw in some alliteration).

Not sure if it is related but there was a photo shoot in front of Spaceship Earth this morning. There were already special lights set up in front of the globe by the time I got there at 5:30am. The shoot started around an hour later. Again, not sure if the events are related.

I heard from a bus driver that they actually had to shunt extra power over to Walt's cryogenic system since it's been so warm in FLA lately.

2:30 am epcot watch

By the way who is up that time of day watching the lights at Epcot? I think its either a terrorist or someone who wants to sneak into the park and steal the rest of the wand!
