I was about to create a thread for it, but since this was asked first...
Here is one web cam from the Swan & Dolphin Resorts. This website also claims it's the only one in WDW. Is that true, or are there more? I once found one for the BoardWalk, but it disappeared.

I don't know of any other "official" cams. I know that one some other boards, there are people who do set up their own cam while they are on vacation. Just streams the view from their hotel room window, and they pop up for a few days and then disappear when they go home again, but better than nothing I suppose.

I never put much thought in to it. I have been calling it "virtual" for awhile now and like that tag. Virtual sounds a bit more "magical" than "pre-recorded". Maybe I should call it the "Magically Pre-Recorded Virtual Webcam"

I wish they would go back "live"....but alas..since 9/11...the towel heads have won..very few times they post anything live...and the video ya see...people are wearing jackets and long pants...no way in july in florida!Well I ask this same question every 30 days!! Are you referring to the WDWLIVE site? LOL, it's a "fan" site.
Read the HOW IT WORKS link just about the video. Everything is pre-recorded from several years ago. Plus, I live in Canada, so most of my trips to the World are in the winter months (to get away from the cold). As such, the majority of the video was shot sometime in January and February (hence, the jackets and long pants).
As the last few sentences say on the How it Works page, "It is just something that has been created for fun … something to give WDW fans (like myself) their greatly needed Walt Disney World "fix" ... to get that feeling of "being there" without actually being there. Enjoy it for what it is."
