Truthfully, I wanted to mention that before you left, but I have no control over the weather and it might have been nice for your whole trip. I have been there a few times in September with no problems, however, I only stayed for a few days, not a month. But I was concerned while trying not to be an alarmist. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. That probably won't change anything but it's at least caring.Thank you. Not coming to Florida in an RV in September ever frickin’ again though.
Hoping you won't get too much inclement weather, and the hurricane loses steam as it advances over land. (Also hoping that your DH and her husband have a nice trip, with minimal impact from weather.)Truthfully, I wanted to mention that before you left, but I have no control over the weather and it might have been nice for your whole trip. We are getting warned of possible high winds, possible tornados and high tides on the coast and we are 600 miles away from you. My daughter and her husband are headed for Pigeon Forge this weekend to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. First time away from their kids in 22 years. It looks like they are going to be hampered by, at the very least, a lot of rain. It's probably just more important that they are taking a break. They are leaving a 22 year old, a 20 year old and a 11 year old on their own. About time I think.

Mark kindly bought dinner. It was all so good.
Stuffed mushrooms. I offered to share, but I did it so half-heartedly that no one took me up on my offer.

The boys split the deep fried rubber bands.

We all had salads. I had no croutons, but you knew that.

Mark must think I’m a weirdo, but he obliged.

Mine. I wanted the stuffed pork chops, but they were out. I brought home one pork chop and all of the potatoes for Mike’s lunch tomorrow.

There was bread and beer. I had neither.

Smart move. (It's a young guy thing, that when the parents go away on vacation, and leave the boy or boys home, something either breaks or spills.Dh says he's never leaving the boys alone in any property we're responsible for after this TR
So I shouldn't text you to see if you are OK?My FB update to friends and family messaging us every 5 mins. I get it. I would be concerned too if I were only seeing CNN’s coverage. This thing is gonna be bad for millions of people.

Fort Myers area is supposed to get a storm surge of up to 18 feet. That will cover your house...I hope everyone has left that area already.
Telegram, you know texting internationally costs me money. So I shouldn't text you to see if you are OK?
I would send a carrier pigeon but I'm not sure that's a humane option at the moment.Telegram, you know texting internationally costs me money.

How do you expect me to keep up with the constant stream of post from you there.
I never post on IG. Whatever you see there is Mike using it as a shadow account. How do you expect me to keep up with the constant stream of post from you there.
Yes he is!I never post on IG. Whatever you see there is Mike using it as a shadow account.
FB is my jam. (I don’t quite understand IG, but Mike is active there.)
Well, in this case the eldest is 22 and the other two are girls so I suspect that he will be powerless in decision making. They were told that I was available if they had any problems, but if I remember any of youth, they will struggle through.Smart move. One of my brothers (back when he was a senior in high school), invited all his hooligan pals over for a party, after the parents left. Of course, the guys spilled booze on the expensive livingroom rug . . . and tried to clean it up, which didn't work. Busted! (My mother had to call in a carpet cleaning service to get the smell and stain out!!)
Glad you're doing okay; I haven't been following along, but I wanted to see how you're faring down there. We have quite a few friends in Florida, most of whom are keeping us updated via the book of Face as well. At least it does have it's purpose other than being completely time consuming. My FB update to friends and family messaging us every 5 mins. I get it.
