WOOHOO!!!! we just booked for 10 days over Christmas at the CBR. We have never stayed there before and are soooo excited. We also got tickets to the last night of Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party. So excited. Can't wait to tell our son.

You will have a GREAT time! Do your homework, be flexible, try to visit resorts for decorations..aka the GF for the GingerBread House! Have fun! I know I am looking forward to see my DD's face on soooo many things this upcoming trip!

Are you going to surprise your son? We are surprising our kids by waking up on Jan 1 and telling them to pack the stuffed animals, because we are going to Disneyworld!!!!:sohappy:

I don't think that we will surprise him on the day we leave. We did that earlier this year when we went and while he was excited his first words were "Yeah I knew we were going" So I think this time we will be giving him an early gift of either the MVMCP tickets or a countdown calendar. We are still working out the details on that yet.

Be ready for long lines and great crowds - but everyone is 'happy' - went over Christmas a couple of years ago to experience the crowds - boy!! were they large....... 90 minutes wait for Haunted Mansion......

We are trying to figure out our ADRs. We have booked Christmas Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. This was a must for the hubby. Other than that we are open for the next 8 dinners. So working on figuring that out. Hearing that Via Napoli is a must, but open to suggestions.

You're already within the 180 day window so there are many restaruants booked up now

WE ate at Via Napoli last month adn loved it, you should be able to get in there, be flexible though with your times,

You can probably get Mama Melrose in the Studios, Kouzzinas on the Boardwalk, German Biergarden in Epcot, Captains Grill in Yacht Club, maybe Ohana's to name a few good ones - forget about LeCellier, those reservations are gone. When I booked at 178 days before Presidents week, I sent through 6 dates before I got one for 4 there.

I made reservations for several restaurants about a week ago, and I was only turned down for one place (I will be going the week before Christmas). I agree with everyone else; hurry.

We will be there from December 18th so we can catch the last night of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!!! and we will be leaving on the 27th.

It is very ambitious and nerve racking at the same time. I am nervous about the crowds but feel the timing is worth it to give our family a great experience.

On a side note, we told our seven year old today about the trip with a countdown calendar and he is SUPER psyched for the trip. Last time we told him the day of the trip and got the old "I knew we were going" line. Much better response this time!
