Trip Report We are GROOT!

Hello friends! Well it has finally arrived and the five of us are packed up and headed to Disney World for a mega trip. We are on the road now and stopping in Columbia, South Carolina for the night. (Max we also have 2 Toyotas)We left a little later than we wanted to because our 2 cats, sensing our departure, escaped outside.

The cast is the same as usual, my crazy Disney family, my husband, Den, my oldest son Hunter, 18, middle child Camden, 11, Brinley, 7 and me, Deighton! Hunter graduated from highschool on June 2 and is doing a year at community College to get his prerequisites out of the way. Our extended trip is his graduation present. (His choice! Who am I to say no.) Plenty of details to come! Happy Thursday everyone! Woohoo!!

It opened in Dec. of ‘89. The Park opened in May of ‘89.
DMGM/DHS was still under construction during our WDW honeymoon in Dec. of ‘88…!!!

We’ve eaten at Coral Reef twice. First time was in ‘07. I had a shrimp fettuccini with sun dried tomato cream sauce dish that was truly, amazingly delicious…!!!!!
Second time was in ‘12. I had the Mahi-mahi, which was more like Mehi-mehi…!!!
Love the setting, but, not on our “We’ll be bahk” list.

Same here! Ambiance is amazing. Food is just so so especially at current pricing which will never go down.

Indeed, and that’s the really disappointing part…higher prices, lower quality…for the higher prices, the quality should at least stay the same.

97 degrees with 72% humidity where I live, so feels like 103 degree and it's not even noon yet! Sooo I'm a bit used it, but I'm also not outside all day, haha! I've been taking my walks in the hotter parts of the day to "train" for Disney!

We had the tuna nachos for an appetizer there is no picture for proof! We are a hungry people after all the treks!

My favorite hangover cure is 2 shots of tequila, a Bloody Mary, and one whole pickled jalapeño…!!!!!

So sorry she’s feeling bad. It’s probably allergies. Have her drink lots. That will help with the dry throat. Lots of ice cream is my suggestion!

I read this to Brin, she got a big smile on her face and said best advice ever!

My former doctor (now retired) used to tell me ice cream was the perfect food for a sore throat.
