I think we need a secret hand signal.

We need to spell out WDW with our hands somehow and flash that sign at people we think we recognize from the boards and they will do it in return if they are a member.

Or the button works too!

I have a T and a pin. No one has said anything to me from the T-shirt... But actually a few times each trip I get someone say something to me when they see the button (on the backpack I carry).

Actually had someone say something to me because of the button in Tokyo Disney. :king:

Maybe we can get steve to consider looking at making necklanyards for us to buy. I would be in for a few of those! I will be purchasing a few buttons for my october 29th trip. So if anyone is in WDW from OCT 29-Nov 2 and see a button it could be me, or just look for the guy on his cell phone while on Dumbo. LOL

Does anyone else think that we should have some sort of item that we can wear to the parks to identify ourselves as WDWMagic Geeks/Members? I know that others have also wondered while talking to people in the parks if they might be members on here but are too afraid to ask and get the weird look from a non-member. If so what are some ideas for items. Maybe a neck lanyard..... Discuss away

I don't think there's anything weird about that. I think I would rather wear a button and see if anyone recognize it, than openly ask everyone I talked to if they were a member.

Exactly, Believe it or not there are people that do not know that these boards exist and even people who are clueless as to what a message forum board is or how to even navigate with ease around the web.

i would hope that if someone from here recognized the tshirt, they would say hello. it doesn't need to be "a big hug " or something weird from a stranger...lol.

i know if i noticed someone wearing wdwmagic gear, i'd try to casually say hello in some way...

I have several WDWMagic t-shirts that I got at Cafe Press. I wear them in the parks, but as of yet, only 1 CM commented on it and said she would check out the site.
We are going back Nov. 6 -13 and I will be wearing the shirts again. Hope to see some of you....:wave:

I have had a few CM's come up to me, and tell me they love this site. As a matter of fact, last Sept. a CM came up to me at MNSSHP, while I was on my way to MTTF, and we started talking about the FL project. At that point it was still on the low, but we talked for at least 5 minutes about it, and how it had already started in the 20,000 site site.:animwink:
