BLASTING OFF. Epcot's Mission: Space ride doesn't open to the public until mid-August, but enough people have ridden during tests to generate big buzz on the Internet.

And, let me tell you, Disney officials are thrilled. The very same execs who would barely utter a word about the trip-to-Mars ride just weeks ago are now more than happy to see the early reviews -- especially because most are positive.

My personal favorite has got to be the posting from FantasiaBoi, on wdwmagic.com: "The ride itself is amazing. I was a little queasy for about a half hour, but nowhere near creating a mess or anything."

And, yes, the Big Mouse himself, Michael Eisner, has ridden Mission: Space -- and word is he didn't make a mess, either.

Oh Geez! Does this mean anything I post here might appear in the Sentinel?

Time to do my Brer Fox imitation. ("Brer Fox, he lay low.")

Excellent! :) I am glad to see that the real experiences of M:S are getting through to the press! :sohappy: (ie. that it's an amazing ride, and not a vomit comet as some sites lead you to believe)
