Thanks for starting this. I live about 45 minutes from New Orleans and we were lucky down here. I got back into my house yesterday with electricity and phones. My brother, 2 aunts and several cousins, family and friends.....they don't know what they are going home to. We don't know how much water will have to clean up or if they'll just bulldoze and build again. So I am giving my blood, sweat, and tears.

I have a question some of the grocery stores here is asking for food donations. What kind of food would you donate? Something like can beef stew or just anything that in non-parishable?
