I know there is another thread about this out there somewhere but I’m not sure where so I’ll give you the lowdown on the PayPal situation:

First, PayPal is an online payment option. The company’s been around for a few years and was recently acquire by EBay (a big reputable company)

PayPal is regarded as a safe, relatively universal way to send money online. You don’t even need a credit card to use it.

Since Steve is in England and most of us aren’t, it isn’t really practical for him to accept payments through the mail due to postage and exchange costs.

They give you five dollars just for signing up. You can think of it as getting your first month of Premium Member status for free!
