why in the world would you want to drive a snowmobile on the road?

The trikes look bad enough... if you got one of these your Z car history would be striken from the records as we could never associate with your type :)

You don't sit relaxed like a cruiser... you don't get the benefits of sitting forward like on a sports bike. You get the worst of both worlds! :)

Sorry - but those things look horrible to me.

On a better note.. Challengers have been delivered. Jay Leno had his at work.

:shrug:Compared to a 350Z the Can Am Spyder is small, light, nimble, quick.

Nothing wrong with that.

I have never been a fan of any trike except for the T-rex. I would think that insurance for trikes would be pretty high.

Anyone have any feedback on Mini Coopers ? I am thinking about getting a John Cooper Mini Hardtop.

So is a tubbed out civic with a motor swap.. doesn't make it attractive to drive :)

Maybe. All I know is if I was on a Can Am Spyder and a 350Z driver was laughing at me, I'd use my nearly double power-to-weight ratio to blow by him. He might still be laughing, but at least I wouldn't have to see him laugh.;)

I wouldn't think insurance would be too bad. The vehicle itself isn't too expensive and it's too light to do much damage if it hits something, so, like most motorcycles, the insurance is probably lower than most cars.

I've never driven a Mini, but they look fun. I wish they had rear-wheel drive.

I made a change on my 2 wheeled runabout today.

Ditched my Vespa and replaced it with a 49CC Honda Metropolitan. I was able to sell my 80mpg toy for about $3k and picked up a 114mpg Honda Metropolitan for $1800 out the door (tax, tag, title, full tank, and 1 months insurance). And since this one is under 50cc, I can turn it off, and walk it onto the Metro :D

woot!

Looks like I may have to see the new Transformer's movie:D:

I don't know if you're going to be happy with it. That robot model/design was for the original Transformers movie but was scrapped. (That was a very early design of her "bot" mode...this was the latest
i46_ZOOMPICTransDeadEndsArcee3XL.jpg

It MAY make it into the sequel...but rumor has it that she is now a Can-Am Spyder. (Funny, my cousin tells me about it...and not a week later it's popping up on a flatbed heading out to the set!).

Also, rumor has it that she has a "holographic" female rider.

What I don't understand is that pictures from the set have 3 girls wearing bike leathers (all the same). Could it be that 3 motorcycles transform into her? I don't know.

Well if they go with the Can Am, they're not getting my 8 bucks.

Hmmm. . . the plot thickens.

The bike in the truck doesn't look like a Spyder . . . but it doesn't look like a Buell either.

It's hard to tell from that tiny bit, but if I had to guess, I'd say it might be a Benelli:

As for the toy, that doesn't look like any real bike I know. It generally fits with a lot of the full-faired Japanese bikes, but the details seem off.

It's got the rim mounted brake which is unique to Buell, but the rest of the bike clearly isn't a Buell.

Likely some "artistic license" there.

I'm getting curious now, so let me know if you run into any more spy shots or other info.

The only thing else I know is that the Solstice is back (from the first movie)...and the Chevy Beat concept will be in it. (Also, Bumblebee now has the rims from the convertible concept rather than the original concept.)

Also, a little tidbit from the original movie. The camaro concept was basically a shell and all the "guts" were done by Saleen.
