I have always loved the '59 droptop.
For me, that is the "classic" car.

His looks cooler than yours.:goodnevil
That is cool! But come on . . .is that the best shot you could get? They're cars, they're mobile, you could actually drive them to a nice photo spot.
It was an impromptu thing in the parking garage. I dont have time to plan things like that out in advance. So yes.. that is the best I could get.![]()
thank god... a crash at 26mph would be fatal. Scary.I love how the steering column actually ends up through the roof. I don't think we'll see that model stateside anytime soon.
that makes me happy in a hard place :lookaroun
Hehe, and the link is to a website called "Goodwood"
Rob, I'm right there with you...some mighty fine lines on that car.
What's the GT-R go for approx?
Any rumors of the Sky RedLine? I like the design of the Sky better than the Solstice...that's why I'm curious.
 I haven't heard much, and I have been paying attention. The next logical step would be a coupe which would be very interesting to me.
I would say that if you're interested in one, we're not likely to see any major changes/improvements soon (except possibly a coupe) so go ahead and get one.
*Edit* You do know the Redline is available now (I think), don't you? When I went back and read your question, I realized I may have mis-interpreted it.
Oh, no I didn't  That's what I was asking about.
Any "number" improvements? I know it's not a "speed-demon" but it's a fun car...and decently priced for a little summer car.
I think it's nearly identical to the Solstice GXP. The only real difference is that you'll probably be able to get a little lower price on the Solstice since you can negotiate down from the sticker (comparably equipped prices were nearly identical from what I could tell building them on their sites).
I'm thinking about getting one myself. Now that I've got the Cobalt, I've got a trunk, backseat, all-season tires, a car Ryan can drive, so all the reasons I would have had for not getting a Solstice or Sky are gone.
I'll turn in the BMW in a few months, and then I've got to think about what to get next. Since I'll have the Cobalt, I'll have pretty much complete freedom.
. . . at the moment though, I'm most interested in the new Buell, and I may go with two wheels instead of four. I think I should be able to show you photos on July 8th. That's when they're scheduled to unveil it to the dealers (though it won't go into production until fall).
Which do you prefer? The Sky or the Solstice? I like the front fascia of the Solstice but the rear deck/fascia of the Sky.
Originally I liked the Solstice better, but over time, the contours of the Sky seem to hold up better for me.
I think I'd also rather work with the Saturn dealer than the Pontiac dealer.
Funny - my parents are torn between these two cars at the moment. They're just about to retire and want to get one more "fun" car (currently, aside from their regular vehicles they have an MG - not sure what year other than the 50s). I have a feeling they'll end up with the Sky. We live very close to a Saturn plant and so most people like to support that make around here.Which do you prefer? The Sky or the Solstice? I like the front fascia of the Solstice but the rear deck/fascia of the Sky.
