lexus

That car reminds me of the IS-f that lexus is coming out with . Wich shows that if toyota wants to they can create good cars. PS the IS-f I think is 408 hp.

Here's an interesting rumor about a possible Audi "R4".

Light weight and mid-engined, it sounds very promising.

My concern is that it seems like it would be too close in price and performance to the TT, and since that has just been completely re-designed, I can't imagine that they'd bring something like this out soon.

It may be in the works, but I'd be surprised if we saw anything in less than 5 years. At that point, I wouldn't be surprised if they did something like this as a replacement for the TT.

That's the Audi I'm talking about...nice clean lines that all work together! I really like that!

I'd mount that too

DMC-12

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
Cool!!

For the Money, I don't think you can beat the performance . . .

. . . but If I was spending 100K on a car, I think I'd go with an Aston Martin or Porsche. The Audi just isn't as sexy to me.

I was reading a review of it in one of the car mags (Road & Track, maybe?) on Monday when I was waiting in the lobby of Caddy Service while my ride was being tuned.... it got a really got a really good write up.

But.. right... I agree... if your in the 100-120k maketplace anyway... I would probally opt for something a bit more exotic as well. Weather it be an Aston, Maserati,... or the new Lotus Esprit coming out sometime... soon.

Yeah!! I can't wait to see that. Some of the spy photos/artists conceptions look very promising, and I think I heard it's going to use a BMW engine. If they can use the engine from the new M3 (that may be too much to hope for) that could really be something.

Well, TVR is Effed!

It has been purchased by the Orlando based Adam Burdette, which while it being owned by someone is good.. this person isn't. This person ran a company called Evolution Imports out of Orlando which imported cars to the and resold them. The catch was that none of the cars were compliant, and ultimately every car sold was confiscated and destroyed... and a lot of people lost money.

He is going to be the worst thing to happen to TVR. `

Cool!

My ranking:

Red Tomato
Bat Mobile
General Lee
Munster's
Ghost-busters

You're just too young for Starsky and Hutch. You didn't get to see them in their glory.

I heard that the body of the original Batmobile was actually the body of a Lincoln concept car...is this correct? The Futura or something like that?

I think I've heard that it was based on a Lincoln Futura, but I don't know much about the Futura.

I don't know if it was a concept car or a limited production car (but no matter what, I'm betting it didn't have rocket launchers:D )

...which is why it probably never sold well.
