Not really! I thought he was, but a new parrot sits next to the last Jack. He has some really funny lines to the parrot! I rode it like 15 times today. Everything makes our Pirates SO much better.mitchjs said:

I rode the attraction 3 times today. I thought the changes were all great. The Jack Sparrow AA look amazing. My only complaint is that the volume level throughout the building needs to be raised. It was much too low in the queue and through the entire ride.

i liked the additions, but the ride justdoesn't seem to have the same charm as it use to. I think it's because they changed a lot of the music in the early scenes.

It looks like all of those pirates at the very end of the ride have been removed. Is that correct? If so, then that's a major shock (to me, at least)
Also, I love hearing the new version of the POTC theme in the first segment. It really sets the mood.

BTW, any chance that they will add a video monitor to the area where the skull used to be? You know, it would have a computer generated boat going down the drop reminding everyone to stay in their seats as their boat will be traveling down a waterfall and back into time

Thanks for the video, it looks like a great rehab...hopefully I can actually see it next year. Barbossa, IMO doesn't look so bad as some have metioned, maybe it was the video, but it all looked pretty good. After these new AA's and the yeti, I really cannot even imagine what the future holds for AA's in the disney parks, but I know they'll just keep getting more reaistic.
