Glad I'm not the only person who loves the rainy days! Nightime at the parks is still my absolute favorite time to be in them, but rainy days are my second favorite!

During Tropical Storm Fay trip in August 2008. Lights, Motorcars, Action rain-shortened performances during two downpours. Moments after show ended, massive downpour as we all exited down the long stretch from the amphitheater.

Saturday, the day after Tropical Storm Fay cleared Orlando, an afternoon downpour greeted me at the Magic Kingdom after morning stops at the Studios and Epcot. Moments after the storm cleared I left the Magic Kingdom for my cab ride to the airport and back home. Still, an awesome time in Central Florida, regardless of the rain-filled highlights from Tropical Storm Fay.

We went last May16th-30th and it literally rained EVERY SINGLE DAY we were there. I'm not joking...EVERY DAY!!!

I can honestly say that the rain didn't ruin the experience though, it let for a few hours at a time but I can't help but remember how hard it rained when we were leaving Animal Kingdom one day... The picture really doesn't do the downpour justice haha

The great thing about rainy days at WDW is that they don't last for a long time...except for this guy's trip.

Also, it rains so hard that it's like going to a water park without having to actually go.

i love this thread! although i have a difficult time figuring out how to post pictures. i feel like rainy days are the vacation days i remember the best on our trip and looking at these pictures makes me want to be in one! i remember the crazy lightening and rain and watching the water seep through the floor in 50's prime time cafe as we are attempting to soak it up with napkins, or the skies opening up at our 1st arrival to MK on our 1st day, the wet ponchos, the panic of running to the monorail, and the best: being trapped in the cave at AK watching a gorilla sleep and make faces at us for an hour and then hoppin on KS for the best safari ever! (after the storm of course! i love rain at disney!

Yes, it's Krusty from Krustyland! Had an overall great time dodging rain drops and bracing myself from the wind. Pretty cool experience, but this tropical storm felt like a normal Midwest storm. A lot of rain, some punch, but little else.

Chalk up experiencing a tropical storm on vacation. Done.
